Re: Joys And Sorrows

Joys: I got a 100 on my final project, thank goodness. Now all that's left is the final.

Sorrows: These couple of days before the final on Thursday have felt like they've been going by at a snail's pace.

New arc? This could be interesting. We got 17 strips till the End Of Year 12. This could end with Craig & Draig interacting with King's kids, and maybe them seeing that they're his kids, and hatching some kind of scheme. But then again, Kitsune would probably show up to keep them in line. Or may...

I think they're fun, but it's tough to talk about them on the forum because my specialization is speculation on what's going to happen next in the main plot. I just don't have a lot to say about each strip aside from "Heh, that was pretty good".

The arc ending with King and Sasha reaching an amicable agreement to respect each other's boundaries after taking a roundabout and hijinks-filled path toward that agreement is great. And I know King's befuddlement with what's happening in that last panel is definitely valid given how he expected to ...

Yeah, I thought she’d have some secret amazing parenting/babysitting skills. Oh well. My guess is that her piano skills will in fact come into play in the future as she seeks constructive outlets for her issues, either on her own or as coached by a therapist that the ECP has her go to see.

My money was on King running into other characters he'd try to rope into helping him with his predicament, but running & hiding from Sasha's Sasha-ness is excellent too. Feels like we're a few strips away from the conclusion of this arc, and I'm curious as to what it's going to end on.

Bailey knows Sasha pretty well (Sasha was maid of honor at the wedding) - I think she cuts her a few miles of slack. She also knows King and his anxieties, and she trusts him emphatically. Agreed. I think what's going on here lies somewhere in the middle. If it’s taking them this long to set up the new boarding, I’m curious if this’ll be a house or some kind of larger building. I could see Keene and Co. having to spend months negotiating with the city to get the proper zoning permits and so forth in place.
