Anyone reminded of this? I'm not sure if I should more irritated with Tarot for trying again to be the one who saves the day or with Kitsune for dodging something that's actually his responsibility this time and just letting her have a go at it.

Steward has suffered like a guy who insists on beating his head against a wall has suffered. It's not Keene's fault that all of Steward's selfish schemes have blown up in his face. Of course, if Steward was capable of that kind of self-reflection, he wouldn't be a (counts floors of the building) 4 s...

Oh. Well. That's not good.

I almost feel sorry for Trinket, I have a feeling he wasn't exactly willing to be absorbed into someone else's daemonic ascension, or I guess descension, would technically be more accurate.

Ohhhh, I don't like the implications of that. I don't like the implications of that at all . The coin's been broken, we haven't seen the result of Eudoant's handiwork on Steward yet, just what kind of powers daemonic he gave him using the coin. I think we've just seen a sign of it, and I think we're...

At this point, I'm just going to assume that all of Negabreel's attempts to get Breel are just going to follow the same pattern of Sylvester trying to get Tweety, or Wily Coyote trying to get the Roadrunner.

So he really was Breel all along. A part of him, at least.

Also, so that's what Eudoant meant back in The Process. When you die and go to heaven, the dark parts of your soul get sorted out and become a demon. And this is the demon made from the dark parts of Breel's soul.

"Such a simple curse," "Hardly any protections."

Eudoant's throwing some shade there on Pete's handiwork. Though to be fair, Pete didn't have much reason to expect his curse to be co-opted by demons.

On a side note, if Steward is going to be turned into a demon, or given demonic powers, what's gonna happen to him when (at least I'm assuming it's "when") Eudoant is banished back to where he came from? This kind of thing isn't playing around anymore, he's probably got something far worse...

I don't think I've ever seen Eudoant smile before. I'm not sure I like it. Oh yeah, there'll be plenty of folks that'll say he looks cute smiling (and yeah, he kinda does) but he's still not the type to smile for any good reasons. And I have a feeling that coin being broke in three pieces is very bad.

Chucking a coconut at him is certainly getting there. Even though, with them being in Heaven, that probably wouldn't hurt even if Mungo wasn't super-doggedly tough.
