In my opinion, the whole empty white room thing doesn't emit very much feeling when it's downplayed by comic relief. I think that's kind of the point, personally. For as great as Jata has been throughout this whole thing so far, I think this strip is probably him at his most amazing. I don't know, that background thing amuses me so much. Keene is probably at his best here, too. Also, I have to say, I really like the much more plot-driven direction of this arc...
