Re: Discussion: Video Games
I'm so annoyed! I was playing Civ V as India, under the One-city challenge, trying to win a culture victory. I was doing fine, even though England has been at war with me for over a thousand in game years, (the computer is absolutely awful at war, and keeps just sending units to die. My city was so ...

Because of this thread reminding me of the slender man I kept thinking about him before bed, I was thinking I would end up with nightmares. In fact, I had amazing dreams. Also, yes. I'm seen lots of fanart, and I watched a bit of EverymanHybrid.

I just got through being at a friend's house where several other friends were. They were all there so they could play WoW together as soon as Catyclism came out. I was just there to talk and I played some Metroid Prime 2 and Star Craft II and Minecraft. Speaking of Metroid Prime 2, that darn Boost G...

I'll save the thread with on-topicness, because I wasn't here before! On the cartoon side, I've seen a lot of cartoons. Old ones that I have no business having seen with as much frequency as I managed. Popeye was the coolest thing when I was like, 4. And not because of that Robin Williams movie. Loo...

Re: How much music do you have?
My music count has increased to 15141 songs. There's actually a bit more but because Itunes doesn't understand Russian I have to post some songs a little at a time and rewrite them with the Roman alphabet, which takes more time than I'm willing to spend right now.

I never was exactly sure what emo music was. I'm fully aware of what it isn't , but that's about it. Early Emo like Rights of Spring was basically more melodic 80's punk with emotional confessional lyrics. It's changed since then, but still sounds like punk with confessional lyrics. It's just that ...

Emo, real emo, makes me happy. Even non-emo bands that have emo-style lyrics (like Jimmy Eat World post Clarity) make me happy. What gets labelled as "emo" now adays is just dumb in the lyrical department. Speaking of Jimmy Eat World, apparently they recently put out a new album, and I had...

I like both. They have their good and bad points. A one-off is short and doesn't have it's own part in a story, but because it's short if it's not your particular cup of tea you can be glad that the next strip won't deal with the same thing again. Arcs are the opposite. If you like what the arc is d...

I've made a few conlangs myself. They're usually made by me going "wouldn't it cool if a language sounded like X, but had grammar and syntax like Y?"
For example, I made a language with Japanese-like grammar, and Old Norse phonology.
