Sorry, just now got a chance to read Wednesday's strip and I just had to pop in and say this is my favorite Housepets strip yet. And by far best Christmas song remix I've ever heard/read. You never cease to amaze Rick

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
Must say kudos to Rick for taking what would have usually been an annoying cop out ending to an arch and making it into an amusing gag. I won't bother repeating all of the questions that this strip has brought up, but will add myself to the list of people that are looking forward to how they will be...

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
Wait, why would the GM have an avatar, if we're going by vague DnD rules? Unless he's more of a GMPC, which wasn't stated, I doubt the Great Kitsune has an Avatar at all. But he says in panel 2 that he plays in their universe, which would imply that he has an avatar of some form. So I would vote on...

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
Spo is the avatar for the GM Think about it: 1) he was brought in by Sabrina, the only second part who deals with magic (or, at least, knows about it enough to share info with Tarot) 2) He may be friend to Fido, but he has no relations at all 3) He can pass unobserved in the pet community at large ...

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
I think if Rick wanted to imply that they are separate characters then he would have used a different term that is less ambiguous like host or something along those lines which would completely imply what you are saying. (Kind of like the hosts for the Nine tailed beasts in Naruto which i believe i...

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
The way I see it is that Tarot still exists as we know/knew her, it's just that the spirit-dragon is using her as an avatar to communicate with the others (specifically Pete at the moment). It's like the dragon is borrowing her physical form - they are still two separate characters/individuals. Tha...

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
I hereby invoke again two of the three Sacred Housepets Rules 1) Speculation is futile It may be futile, but it sure is a lot of fun :P Speaking of which, now that we know Tarot is the dragon's avatar, and not actually the dragon, that makes me wonder if Pete's human form is really an avatar as wel...

Re: Arc #32: The Dog Days of Summer
Come to think of it, Pete can shape shift, meaning that he could look like anyone, even Tarot. I not saying that was the case, but think about it. Oh and the idea of Tarot and Pete being all the same person would be confusing for the comic, there is no way they are one person. I agree. At most he i...

OMG I was thinking the same thing ! Tarot was Pete in reality! Then again, kill me if this theory is right. We'll probably see Pete threatening King in the next comic, and then Tarot jumps out of a bush and attacks him with some magic or somethin'. lol, I never said Pete was Tarot all along....

You know Lycanthromancer brought this up in the comment section. Since Tarot went into the woods what if Pete's not really there and its just Tarot using her powers to fool King? (Why she would be doing this I have no idea but its an interesting possibility) I kind of wonder if it's not the other w...

I hope it wasn't Tarot of Peanut's sake. Being super powered and punching people in the jaw is fine and dandy, but you do not punch magic in the jaw. Because magic will get angry. I agree with the thread for each arch idea. It allows for a flow of discussion to develop, but without just having the one gigantic thread. Honestly, I don't have anything against the one big thread, but if change is needed, I think that is an excellent middle ground solution.

Just now saw and read All the King's Men. Very much worth the wait. Nicely done Rick!
That answered a lot of questions about King. I now find myself feeling less sorry for him about some things, but more sorry for him with other things. Can't wait for part 2.
