Alphabites got up and stretched, he realized that he left his board up on the roof. He climbed back up onto the roof and grabbed his board. He poked Sixtoes to get his attention when the first firework went off.

At first bang, David went back down and sat next to Selene. After a while, he noted he had a handpaw on her far shoulder.

Though saying nothing , it was quite clear that Selene wasn't against the gesture . In fact , the vixen even seemed to be leaning a little bit toward David .

Alphabites couldn't help but let out another silent laugh, at least he got Sixtoes' attention. He wrote Thanks on his board and showed it to Sixtoes. He decided to sit down on the roof and enjoy the fireworks.

"I've done a bit of cable work myself strictly on the QT of course for an old friend of mine so he could watch TV in his den."

While he watches the fireworks Cinnamon proceeds to tell Alphabites a confusing story about fixing up a truly appalling setup of extension cords and cable TV wire strung through the woods from the back of someone's house. Apparently the local ferals refused to work on it any more after something nasty happened to one of them, but the Badger who owned the TV wouldn't tell him any details.

Alphabites smiled and shook his head as he erased the board. Wow, most that's happened to me is some falls off of roofs and getting stuck in walls He showed Sixtoes the board while watching some more fireworks.

"I haven't fallen off roofs just the occasional trees 'cos they don't always hold my weight but humans build roofs good and solid."

Cinnamon thumps the roof, which dents. Oops. He shifts his tail to cover it.

"My big problems always been angry birds they don't seem to understand how I'm domestic and act like I'm after their eggs I mean sheesh raw eggs? Do they think I ain't civilized?"

Alphabites watched Sixtoes dent the roof, he looked at Sixtoes and shook his head some more. He erased his board, Never faced a bird before, and you, probably He showed Sixtoes with a smile and small silent laugh.

Selene teased David with a smile , though that didn't last long before the more serious side of her returned "But yes Kayla , I think we all agree that having an owner such as yours might , if I may be so bold , prove to be quite an unpleasant and possibly dangerous situation . The ASPCA? they usually cause more trouble than they prevent..
An any pet that falls into their hands gets fixed, no matter what the reason..
