There's something in an old arc that has been bothering me for a while.
If you think back to when Keene had the BRILLIANT idea to host the state fair in order to get out of paying taxes, you will recall there was an eating contest. You may remember there was an entrance fee of $50, which Tiger acquired by making Zach work at the petting zoo and crediting his pay to his application.
You may recall that Falstaff signed Truck up, and that Truck gleefully handed over his entrance fee, declaring that he "washed it himself."

Where did Truck get $50 from?

They either found it on the streets or "found" it on the streets (meaning they stole it from someone).
It's not impossible to stumble into such amount of money. Back in middle school my friend and I found 30k HUF while walking to school, it's currently worth about 80 USD but back then it was equal to more than a 100 bucks.

Truc may not be the intellectual titan Falstaff is, but he's a resourceful little scamp.

Any amount of money can fall out of someone's pocket when it is bills and they wouldn't even notice it too much until it was too late. So its not inconceivable that the two managed to see some money and grab it.

They do often travel to the neighborhood.

I suppose they could have gotten it from Cory. He likes to steal borrow things from people.

Don’t see Cory just handing out money unless there was something in it for him.

The raccoons can go into the mall without being escorted out in a muzzle and a spray clamp. Perhaps they "acquired" something for him in exchange for this money.

I highly doubt that Cori would end up helping anybody out for any reason. He does seem to be the type to be selfish and only wants to do stuff for him without helping others.

I agree, Corey would find a way to snooker the poor raccoons.

Then somehow end up losing the money that he ot for them and getting arrested. After being beaten in a very humiliating fashion by somebody.

Yeah, one would think a skunk would received a certain amount of ... ah ... um ... diffidence. Jessica, though, never did seem to be one for niceties, did she? Miss her.

Not to mention that she had Cori's number from the beginning and knew how he worked. Of course she wouldn't have any patience for him and woukd react accordingly to his stunts.

Jessica was a "knock-out" long before she met Zack Rabbit.
As to the relationship of "The Opener" to the Celestial hierachies, I'll leave the theology to Custom Ink (whom I also miss).

Actually now that I'm thinking about it, I have more questions that tickle my curiosity.

1. When Kitsune shows up when Keene brings Lois and Marion to meet the Kitsune, King grabs Olive and his luggage and makes a run for it. What... pray tell... is in King's luggage? He doesn't wear clothes. The pups didn't wear diapers. And guaranteed they have supplies over at the Lindberg residence. So... what's in the suitcase?

2. What does Cory even WANT at the mall anyway? He's been escorted out by the K9s at least three times.

3. How many Bigglesworths are there?

4. WHERE DOES THE CHICKEN LIVE?!

All of those things aren't supposed to be logical I don't think and are there for one reason and one reason only: because its absolutely hilarious. XD

As for Cori, my suspicion is that he is trying to swipe wallets and money from people and he knows a lot of people go to the mall so he tries to get in. Maybe one day he will be able to successfully get his goal accomplished.
