Housepets!

So, I haven't had a whole lotta time to work on this, but I used some spare time to make a character. So, I'd like to join the Gardens of Radiance. Better known as Radiant Gardens. I'm a bit new at this, though. Here goes...

Appearance:
Black and white fur bicolor pattern. Usually wears shorts and a shirt, and a blue collar with a cloud tag.

Personality:
Luke is a good guy with a strong will, who doesn't like seeing people upset or hurt. He may not always know what to say, but he has good intentions.

Magical Abilities:
Minor healing ability (For minor injuries and helping the process of getting rid of illnesses.)
Aerokinesis (The ability to manipulate air.)

Background:
Luke spent the first three years of his life in an animal shelter, until one day a man named Gabriel Christiansen had come to adopt him as a surprise for his wife, Abigail. 4 years of his life passed from then on, full of nothing but pleasant memories. One night, a terrible thunderstorm was passing right over the area they were living in, which could have caused damage to the small forest that bordered the city, and probably would have caused a lot of troublesome work for the firemen. Luke was scared by the storm, and so he got it into his head that he'd try to push it away himself. So he closed his eyes and with all his might, made a wish. What he hadn't seen was the wind he generated while doing that, effectively blowing the storm out of the danger zone. But his dad saw everything while going out to tell Luke to get back into the house. Effectively, this prompted Gabriel to take Luke to someone he knew, someone else who had experience with controlling energy. Within a span of five years of his life, Luke was able to fully control his ability, and learn a few self-defense techniques in the process. The family all agreed that a change of scenery was in order at that point, so they had traveled for quite some time before deciding to settle down somewhere.

An air bender? Cool! I think he looks like a good character. You've put a bit of thought into him and fleshed him out well.
You'll need to either put a link to or copy the character sheet into the Radiant Gardens OOC to make sure the GM has seen it and then they'll let you know whether you're in or not.

Erm well, I'm actually a little stuck on what to write at the moment without being too Mary Sue-ish or pulling another deux ex machina. So it might take a while for me to respond properly. My apologies on that.

Anyway, with that said, I will be involved with the university's choir team (again, after some coerc--I mean, invitation from some of the juniors ) and I might be busy until the convocation ceremony which is the end of this month. I'm not sure whether this will affect my posting rate (slow as it is /orz) but just wanted to put it out here.

Well.... I haven't been around for a week for that reason, so...

I'm sorry for not being around for... more than 2 weeks (I think), when I really should have posted what was keeping me delayed. Which was a rhetorical analysis paper on what assumptions lie underneath the exigencies for the Star Wars vs Star Trek online war. It was a pain to research.

Next time, I'll try to let everyone know what's keeping me from posting.
