And just like that, Lucretia's Thanksgiving preparation had all been for nothing.

Does anyone find the title for this strip just a little bit creepy?

So, does this mean there's going to be a four month jump between this arc and the Christmas arc (since it's supposed to be August)? I somehow doubt that her labor is going to last that long in Housepets! time. :P

If so, that'd mean we'd be skipping over the first dog year of their lives. :(

Right to the point, maybe this arc will be sort of short but important.

Huh, Bailey's ear fur isn't colored in the last panel, and Lucretia's isn't in the first. Also, I just realized that the in the New Year strip, one of Bailey's eyes isn't colored...

It's actually way more helpful if you let Rick know directly instead of posting here!

I'm pretty sure dogs don't have 'waters' like humans do.

Well, that escalated quickly. Very quickly. I honestly thought we'd get some one offs before the next arc. Nothing much to say except it shall be interesting to see how this plays out.

Oh boy, the buns are almost done, someone go get King! :D

Not so sure on the sense of Bailey wanting to move out. I mean, sure you need room but there's a big difference between an average middle-class home and a multi-million dollar mansion...although twenty three canines are a lot. :/
freshpickledtuna wrote:I'm going to be that guy, but......

Probably not, but it does make for a subtle last-panel joke. I think Lucretia took a bit longer than Bailey to realise. :P
"Strange, you spilled a lot more water than I gave you a moment ag...Oh, oh dear."

The lovely ladies in the night,
keeping around the Kitchen,
slaking thirst before first liight
and both looking bewitching.
Relating times of their growth
and the freedom of expanse;
the wild laid claim to them both
with their family, perchance.
If she'd been in bed right then
her King would have had to swim;
but she's still there in Wolves Den
and the delivery's about to begin.

Most assuredly, canines possess amniotic sacs, typically one for each puppy.

Wait a minute. I just realized that was a year ago! It felt like that JUST happened! Time isn't just going fast in he Housepets! world, the comic itself is making time zoom by! :o ...
Also, dogs are actually only pregnant for around 63 days, so really it's only been 2 months or so since the fair arc (but in real time, 6 months). So yes, fast, but also accurate. :ugeek:

Don't be that guy. :evil:

j/k :P

Anyway, all mammals have amniotic sacs, except for marsupials and monotremes (I think).

It seems shorter because the arcs have been longer, and we haven't had as many arcs.
