This thread is where we'll tell you when we change things and you can complain about said changes!
February 6, 2015
- Added optional Skype field to profiles.
Users may edit this field during registration or via the User Control Panel. Users wishing to reveal their Skype details individually are welcome to use this field to invite other members to ask privately. Users are not required to fill out this field or give contact details to anyone who asks, this is at individual discretion.

I like the Skype idea since it is the only messenger I use now.
I'll add mine in a bit later.

I'd recommend a slight edit to the Skype field.
Setting it to a contact field would make it more at home with the other social links on your profile.
Setting the contact link value to "skype:%s?userinfo" would enable people with Skype to click a link to view their profile.
The website field would probably be more at home in contacts too, if possible.
These are the default settings on newer versions of PHPBB.
Though my Skype has long since been lost, I thought this change might be nice for Skype users.

- Assigned banner artist rank to contributors.
- Standardized forum moderator permission sets.
