Anyway! Yeah, I know that the comments system came before the forums (I've done my research), and that it's not like Rick can Nuke the comments thing. It does allow for easier discussion and feedback, as well as unedited thoughts. In forums, if it seems like there's an exclusive, tight knit community, it can be intimidating for new users who don't have a name or presence (it's that exact thing that has kept me from registering for the TwoKinds forum). But I ramble (and so do you Ebly). ANYway, I was just ranting. Maybe I do need to do a little more research on forum activity...um, come to think of it, this forum and one other are the only ones I consistently post in. I just lurk everywhere else. Hmm.

Hahahaha, Dissension's more regular than anyone else from back then (um, myself excluded), posting every couple of days. U:

Well well well, look who it is! Greetings from Ohio! i didin't go to a Jazz festival (altough that would be nice) but i'm enjoying my stay and hoping you guys didin't all die while i was gone.

I have no idea why this topic isn't used.

Anyway.

Buck has instructed me to inform you all that he will be refraining from any and all potential distractions from work for the next two weeks. That means: Housepets. IRC. Ironclaw (but maybe, if things start looking up). SITC. Roleplay. Steam. Whatever other forms of contact you have with him.

As for an explanation: He's busy. And I mean it, he's busy. It's mostly his fault and he admits that, but it doesn't change the fact of the matter. There is no doubt he's insanely busy, and so yeah he's taking a break.

Actually my response was more aimed towards your surprise for him to be coming to visit you. You seemed surprised and joyful at the idea so I felt the need to ruin that by pointing out that he was not visiting you at the time, and that the window of opportunity to meet him was closed for a long time. ...Or something I don't know I'm bored out of my mind.

I wasn't aiming at the reference to the Jazz festival at all in my post, but I apologize anyways for any confuscion it may have caused.

Pardon my French but.... Censored!...

The power supply on the new-er comp went on the fritz and now I'm waiting for the new one to get here, if it doesn't come TODAY I'm probably going to have to wait until Monday until i start posting regularly again.

just cross your fingers and pray that UPS delivers on Christmas Eve.

also i hate this keyboard, I'm not used to it.

Edit: the only reason i managed to post this was that my bro dragged out the old comp into the computer area and hooked it up to the Internet. I would've posted sooner but Ubuntu was giving me some problems.

Update on the situation: 'Fraid to say that as it turns out its not the power supply.

its the hard drive.

I have been gone for the past *checks calender* actually I am not sure how long I have been gone due to the fact of the death of one of my uncles and many other numerous family/work related problems. On the up side of most of this I got to see some of my family members while I was in Germany for the funeral of my uncle, it is funny how the death of a loved one can bring others together and I sincerely regret not keeping in touch with them, but that will change. I do apologize for this morbid post of my coming back, and I am happy to "see" all of you again.

i'm back early! Holy crap, catching up to do is an underastatement... I been staying at a place where all that i can do is play call of duty 4, and that i have been doing for the past two weeks- no internet, absolutlely no contact with friends. on the upside, i had a record player, about fifty beatles, kinks, rolling stones, and David bowie records to listen to and a complete collection of sherlock holmes (i loved the movie!) So i was busy none the less. i also watched die hard, black hawk down, 1984, ect. in the same day for the first time. BUT ANYWAY, i'm back home, i see that my prized topic HAS picked up a bit and i'm up to date on the comics now. i'm so happy.

Starting tomorrow, I'll be leaving for the Philippines. Sadly, I got no access to the internet in my little condo...I'm sure how long until I actually got it but it might actually take...a few months. That or I'll be away for roughly 3 months, for my semester break, which I will fly back to Hong Kong for my vacation. D:

And...I'll still get to lurk and post once I get the chance in a WiFi area.

So, I got home last night after watching the BCS championship, and my computer had been infected. A LOT. And whatever infected it had disabled my antimalware program. So I might be scarce for the next couple of weeks. Just giving the heads up.
