Yes there are some locks on the doors. We just haven't ever bothered to use them. XD

Having your Wi-Fi give out on you and strand you without internet can be really annoying as I had experienced it in the past. Here is hoping that I don't have to worry about that problem anytime soon! *knocks on wood*

I did, Fox, I did. I think it's stimulating to visit places where you experienced growth and joy in your life. There are, of course, shadows - people no longer among us, personal places altered or gone, and always some darker reflections. But you can't be sure how you've grown - and others grown as well - without thoughtful measurement gauges, eh?

I would like to one day visit my old house since I haven't been there for 2 years to see what the new owners have done to it. I know I will have some sad memories but I would rather work through them. I don't think I will ever be able to visit though.

I'm off in Lakehaven, New York, sponging off my youngest daughter (40 !) and her husband as they celebrate their tenth anniversary in a Cayuga Lake cabin they bought off a chum. Back when I'm back. Be well, all!

My family actually got into a huge fight over an air-conditioner a few weeks back, lol.

Annnnnd ... we're back! Sure wish we'd found some airconditioners. It's so hot here all the eggs we left out in the carton hatched.
They are seriously cute, though.

So it seems I left this forum for well over a month. Just wanted to clarify in case this happens again (hopefully not), that even though its summer and I should theoretically have all the time to myself, instead my depression screws me over, makes me a lazy bum, and the most simple social interactions can be absolutely draining, even online. Plus, I have a summer job to attend to that leaves me in a zombie like state for the good majority of the day. No, I have not abandoned my comic, but it is undergoing a bit of a revamp and probable title change. Just wanted to let you all know that I’m still around and I haven’t forgotten about y’all. Hope all is well and take it easy.
