Finally decided on my fursona. I'm going to be an Alaskan Malamute.

Would that be anthropomorphic, feral, or both?
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

I tend to assume anthropomorphic unless told otherwise.

I think the clothes might have given it away. X3
Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
I guess I never actually posted my fursona here. Wish I could actually show what he looks like, but I can't draw....at all, so I'll just describe him the best I can: An anthropomorphic cat with green eyes named Jonny. He is fairly tall, with mostly black fur with seemingly random white patches, including on his left ear and both paws, giving him an asymmetrical look. He has fairly thick headfur that falls to his shoulders. Is rarely seen without at least one earbud in, playing anything from Kamelot to Billy Talent to The Postal Service, and his grey backpack. Typically wears bright colored t-shirts just because he likes the look of it.

No matter how tempting it may be, as a DM I can't both present a problem and solve it.
Every time a DMPC or NPC fixes something a payer couldn't i'm diminishing and undermining that player's contribution.

Shortfurred, normal face, I hadn't quite decided on a breed, but I think I'm going with American Shorthair

Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
Woah! I would have been more specific if I knew you were going to draw him for me. That said, this is pretty much exactly what I had in mind, though I forgot to mention that his ears are a bit small for a cat. [Edit: the more I look at it, I actually like these ears more. Apparently you know my fursona better than I do ] Seriously though, great job. Thanks so much!

Lies. We are all horrible people who will stop at nothing short of world domination or getting to eat our dessert before dinner. Whichever happens to be easier that day.JonnyNova wrote:I swear this forum is just filled with awesome people

Given the way I've been brought up, it would be the former for me.
Just wondering about the height of my fursona too. I'm not entirely sure but I may or may not be able to lean on Kevin's head.

let's move on from discussion of marriage, at least where the two parties are not in fact dating.
Furr and Serence's wedding plans are perfectly fine though :3

I'm still an Asian small-clawed otter.
Story time! Back then when I joined here, I don't actually have one, not wanting to be a furry. After a while though, I redacted that statement and fully embraced my love for anthropomorphic animals. At first, I created a white Akita Inu for that purpose (which I ended up not using at all), even when I wanted a wolf fursona (hence my username). But an ex-member of this forum advised me against choosing such a common species, and suggested that I use this spiritual animal website to really find out the perfect analogy to my personality. I remember seeing otters as being "playful, easily hurt, flippant", which was basically me back then, so I chose an otter. The sub-species I chose after some research on different kinds of otters. I don't even know that there are otters native to my home state till then!
Still, I think I understand cats the most, so I'm partial to creating a cat fursona. I mean, my last name is Felix, I've learned all I can on cat mentality and health, and while almost all the cats that I have gotten personal with have died prematurely or were taken away, they seemed to enjoy my presence around.
Otters I've only seen once, at Aquaria KLCC being on loan from the National Zoo, and it was fun seeing the critters swimming around and having a good time. People go there to see the fishes, I stayed at the otter exhibit. The urine smell was quite pungent though, I must say.

There are times when I come across an amazing ref sheet and develop the sudden urge to commission or draw one for myself...Hlaoroo wrote:I have a new ref sheet in the works. It's coming along nicely and should be just one or two edits away from being done. I'll be sure to share when it's ready!
Then I remembered I don't have an OC.

I'm still a hybrid. And from the looks of it, the only one in the forums.
You know, when I think about it, I don't think there's a difference between a folf (fox/wolf), and a fosky (fox/husky). Physically speaking, anyways.

Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
My OC was reconfigured because of how implausible it was for her to be a full-blooded Pekingese and dating someone who would tower over her. Then I chose a Saint Bernard but that was even taller than Kevin was. So I settled on a Boxer Samoyed mix. Boxer father, Samoyed mother, maternal grandfather is a Pekinese. Even though she isn't a mix of different species, is a mix of dog breeds, being half-Boxer, fourth-Samoyed and fourth-Pekingese.
Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
You know, Dayzee, it impresses me how much thought you put into that.

Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
Doug was the one that gave me the idea. In my fanfic, if she was a pekingese, she would have been too small for him (smaller than King), a saint Bernard would have her tower OVER Kevin. At least this way she's the right size and looks like a pekingese.D-Rock wrote:You know, Dayzee, it impresses me how much thought you put into that.
