I think Jeff was pointing out that Diss discussed pronounciation (unrelated to the topic) and then told us to get back on topic, meanwhile forgetting or neglecting to contribute to the topic at hand.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Actually, moderators may post to enforce rules without touching the thread's topic and JeffCvt was reiterating my call for on-topic discussion. Please do not mini-mod. If you feel a rule was broken, you may report the offending post. As this thread cannot stay on topic even with nudges and outright instructions from staff, it's outlived its usefulness.
Edit: I've been assured discussion from here on will focus on fursonas and participants will pay attention to and follow moderators' instructions. Let's see how that goes.

Thanks so much for unlocking the thread, Diss!
Sorry for the off-topic discussion and mini-modding.
Now, let's get back to sharing and discussing those fursonas and OCs!

I actually have a few more drawings of my various forms, they're currently cycling through as my avatar.

and then there's Rick's drawings of my dog form colored by Douglas Collier:

I wanna list some fun facts about my character but I don't wanna hog the thread.
Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
Might as well, especially since there are no otters yet :3c
Primary fursona: Lee Shui Ta, Asian small-clawed otter. My icon is him. Only anthro form.
OC: Well, I have a whole lot created over time, but then again, I consider all my ex-RP characters as my OCs as well. I'd rather not list them all.

I don't have any other 'sonas or OC besides what I've already stated, unless you include RP characters.

Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
I was still working out the details of my fursona last Species Change Week so I didn't change. So I've also only ever had the one. I might try SCW this year though. Anyone know when it is?
Sleet uses a randomiser so she has lots of different avatars. But let's keep this discussion on topic. If you see the arctic fox in his avatar, that's her fursona.SergeiTheFox wrote:(Sleet, is that Keith from TK in your avatar slot?)

I've been thinking about changing my fursona to a lesser panda, maybe...

Sleet mentioning species change reminded me of long ago, probably a year ago. When I was flipping through species, my first and longest choice was an arctic fox.

My Housepets! OC was originally a mix before I settled on pureblooded St. Bernard.

After I am farther along with my "Fanfiction" I'll post OCs from that here. Actually, I'm extremely new to the furry scene, and all I have... Is Winston (OC) and Czukay (My Fursona).

A sea urchin, huh? That's all hokey pokey for me, just don't go to a balloon party .
As a fruit bat, I can appreciate the look of RandomGeekNamedBrent's winged forms. I could totally go for having those; turning heads as I fly around like a tough-guy.
To reiterate, my fursona's a feral fruit bat... which might be difficult, considering that he's also a stand-up comic at night clubs. Probably more of a "crawl around" or "hang upside-down" comic then... Also, it's hard to hold the mike when you're all thumbs... Aaand I used up my joke quota for the year.

Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
You know something interesting? My first real fursona was a corgi - back in 2008 I used PowerPoint to draw a shirt, pants, and a collar on a stock corgi picture. I also used a photo editing program to color the eyes blue. I called him Corgi [Insert my real name here]. I guess he was the prototype for Douglas.

Funny thing. I have yet to draw my fursona myself. I do have an idea though that I'm going to start work on shortly.
Re: What Species Are Your Fursonas/OCs?
I used to just be a German Shepherd, but then I decided I wanted to add a bit of Tamaskan.
If you haven't seen one before, this is a Tamaskan dog. They were Finnish dogs bred to look like wolves.

So you injected yourself with viral tamaskan DNA?
(and then perhaps accidentally stuck yourself with some viral red fox DNA - hence the orange color? 0.o )

Those of you who have fursonas, how many of you are on FA or active in the furry community?
Here's my FA with lots of art of my fursona. Feel free to add me but make sure to tell me your forum username so I know who you are. I'd like to be more active in the community but I've never had a chance to get to any cons, nor do I know any good, clean furry places online other than here and FFC.

I roleplay sometimes in the anthro universe (one partner has a cowboy character, and for some reason I have been craving a marine corps character) and I do have an FA, but thats it pretty much.

So would that be anthro or feral, Punchy?
Also, you realize that being a red panda and having the name Punchy isn't going to make it easy for us to resist making Kung Fu Panda / Master Shifu references, right? XD
