Most importantly, hope you feel better, and don't overdo it (most heard sickness advice ever, I bet). Current climate where I live is not good for you health. I've been sick twice already this year!

Now Orphan flu is either the greatest thing to happen, or the absolute worst thing to happen. Depends on who's sick, I guess.

Rick is sick too? I was last week. I don't know whether to hope he bass something different from what I did because it wasn't pleasant, or the same thing because it came and went (mostly) in the span of a few days. Here's to hoping for Rick, and anyone else sick reading this, that it's not as bad as it could be, and you're back where you want to be soon.

On today's strip: "Hey, Spot! (super dog) Don't imagine the robo-wasps and everything evil about the cyborg and world being turned into harmless water vapor!"

Go get better, Mr Griffin. Like (hopefully) all fans, I'd rather have the Artist well than an update.

Our Rick does a truly awesome job.
Even when sick, he brings us Spot (superdog)
The champion to crush all that's ill...
Well, OK, he's laid up too but still...
His body fights the flu, his mind fights the sick
as Stripe helps him heal. She needs to be quick,
bringing Chicken Soup to he who's most in need
if it gets worse she'll also have to help him feed.
He's so awesome, even in his mind,
that Stripe now has a hat she's gotta find.
He blew it off with a mighty mental breath
He's super even when he's near (male) Death!
Five Furry Indians, waiting patiently in line.
Until Monday when we hope Rick is fine.

Really sorry to hear you're down with the sickness, Rick. It's really awesome of you to make us something spectacular in spite of that. Get well soon, Mister Comic Maker Man!

Haha, it's good to see Spot (Superdog) again. I hate when somebody tells you not to think about something, because suddenly you can't think of anything else!

Hello Rick! Oh, and I guess everybody else who is reading this as well, hi! I've been reading this spectacular comic for a few weeks now, and Rick, your sickness prompted me to make an account to post on the forum. Why? To tell you, you aren't alone! I'm sick right now as well! Hope you feel better soon! My sore throat goes out to you! Maybe I should stop drinking out of the community toilet...

Hey, a nice Spot interlude is appreciated. That was getting dense!

Can't say I'm happy about the circumstances that brought it about though! Get well soon, flufftail!

I love the fact that Artists don't want to let us down, I really do. But I'd rather have the artist give us an occasional repeated one-off than not have the artist well.

As much as I would like to see my guest strip submission go up, I'd really not have it happen at Rick's expense.

To Mr. Griffin: I would rather you take the time to relax and get well properly than to push yourself too hard trying to focus at a computer screen. I like Housepets! a lot, but personally I would rather see it put on hold than to hear that you relapsed from your surgery.
I don't know for certain, but I think Diss could handle the uploads if you let him.

By the way, they say great minds think alike? I got a huge migraine headache yesterday afternoon. It got so bad I had to leave class and go home to bed. I still have some lingerings of it.

Must be White Pony from Cross Time Cafe.

Sorry Rick isn't feeling well. It's no fun being sick. My doctor insists I get a Flu shot every year (and my company pays for it). A few years ago, I was vaccinated for pneumonia, and I haven't had it since, although I had been getting it more or less annually. Some folks tell me vaccinations are bad for you, but I'd rather risk the possible side effects than suffer the consequences of the real disease (now I'll have at least three people offering me links to "prove" I'm wrong. Save it, I'm not interested).

Anyway, get well soon, Rick (and everyone else with anything from sniffles to lumbago). Chill out, warm up, drink plenty of fluids. We'll manage by ourselves until you get back.

Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!

Attention, Rick! . . .errmrm, I mean, Spot (Superdog) !

If you do have a fever, this is most likely the flu, and if your onset of this has been 48 hours ago or less, get thee some Tamiflu (which is prescription, which means you'll need to get seen.) and which is the preferred med to use against this evil strain of Orphan Flu! . . .and the other one which has been going around, that has shown some resistance to the current flu shots, sneaky little within the automobile, but it should at least be blunted by the Tamiflu. . .I had this, even though I am not nearly as awesome as Spot (Superdog) I did have my flu shot, which did help, as did the Tamiflu.

and BTW might I say that you and everybody here at the forum are all incredibly awesome! Please get feeling better soon Rick !!

Both Spot's intermission and Rick's sickness were unexpected. Good for the first one, but bad for the second. Get well soon, Rick! :D There's always craziness in Spot's adventures, actually seems to be a good flu to get, just watch out from the bad hallucinations. :P Nice Stripe as nurse. Those robohornets remind of those in Sonic the Hedgehog worlds.

Have you ever Played Robot Unicorn Attack from Adult Swim Games? (I have a feeling that that game is what spawned this unicorn...)

Well If you were an artist like him with a great comic like this and fans like us, would YOU want to let them down?
Especially with the risk they might get mad and stop reading (not me, and hopefully not a lot of us)?

Huh, could be from that too, but knowing that the last comic was Refrencing Robot Chicken, which is on Adult Swim; I would also think that there's a possibility that it could have stemmed from Robot Unicorn Attack from Adult Swim Games?
