This strip is a riot. I don't know which one of the 6 boxes to choose as an avatar. I'd love to hear the conversation prior to this.

Keene - "What you're holding, is a tablet"
Karishad (perplexed) - "How do i swallow it?"
Keene - "You don't"
Karishad (concerned) - "IT GOES IN THE...."
Keene - "Not that kind of tablet! It's a small computer which was once the revolutionary answer to clunky underused libraries but has since reduced itself to a cheap I-Pad!"
Karishad - "Oh i see, question?"
Keene - "Yes"
Karishad - "Will I go blind?"
Keene - (walks away without answering)

This is why I love you. This is also the reason why I'd rather not have you live in my house... but it would be totally awesome if you live next door.

Yep, I wondered the same thing -- I guess that's an indication we're paying attention. But obviously, this is a one-off.

Having worked in IT for years, I get this one a lot. It used to be, "Press Return key," and the customer would call up complaining that their keyboard didn't have one of those (alternately, the Enter key, same issue).

In its later years, the old newspaper comic Bringing Up Father (oh, look it up) by George McManus had all kinds of crazy things going on in the background -- literally. We're talking, tiny burglars making good their escape -- from a painting on the wall. Readers would eagerly follow long story arcs that could last for more than a year, interspersed with one-shot strips. Rick follows a great tradition here; some of his story arcs are recurrent and may skip months or years before returning. I suppose the 'trope' is the Brick Joke made popular in George Herriman's Krazy Kat (you can look that one up for your self). Instead of zany background antics, Karishad (amateur proctologist) and Tiger Arbelt (understudy for G*rf**ld) supply the filler silliness.

D'awww Karishad is sooo adorable >3< *huggles karishad* silly foxy =P and yeah, the way in which Keene's nose beeped when kari poked it :3 and, did he touched daryl's butt? OuO anyway, it's always good to see karishad interacting with the rest of the cast, he and zach are my favorite (support?) characters.

Simply put he's trying to say that Daryl has a bare spot somewhere from shaving and that was where Karishad touched him

It should be noted that we cannot be sure EXACTLY where Karishad touched him

If you read it top-to-bottom and then left-to-right (From ? to click-clacks to probably priceless vase to ! to steam and finally to *beep*), then it is quite clear why he was touching the steam, he was sterilizing his finger!

(never-mind that he's doing that over today's lunch!)
