34, I have had russian lessens for 3 semesters, but that was already a couple of years ago and because of that time and no chance for practicing nearly all is lost again . But I am still able to read the word борщ . At the end the teacher, who lived in st. petersburg (if I remember correctly) for a long time after WWII after he was released as a prisoner of war, invited us for dinner - it was delicious борщ. Now I am searching for a good recipe. I don't like to try any of that lookalike recipes from the web, I would prefer an original one, maybe you mother or grandma is willing to share with an interested german guy.

If you are interested, I can offer my grandmas recipe of meat salad we always make for christmas as exchange.

A little chat while playing this game is understandable, but please don't let it take place of the chat thread in the main section of Not The Comic. The point of this game is to count and to try and beat the pants off of the mods (For you guys).

Trust me, I understand where you are all coming from and how easy it is to just start talking. Me and a bunch of other people used to do the exact same thing in the old Mem VS Mods, but Diss had to stop the conversations altogether when people started forgetting numbers.

I still remember one thing during that lessons, I bursted out laughing while we are trying to translate a text from the book, sentence by sentence, everybody one. It was a text about one guy showing photos to his friend. I started mine a few people before it was my turn, so that I don't have to guess on every word . My sentence was "моя сестра накрывает на стол." (Thanks to google - hope all is right, but it looks so from my point of view). What I did was translating накрывает with nackt (naked) because it sounds similar to накрывает. And the result was a Render literally LOLing (nearly ROFLing!) because of the translation: "This is my sister naked on the table!" - Imagine a guy showing such a photo to his friend.
