Why would Bittersweet Candy Bowl frown on colors? The comic itself is eye cancer as is.

The main reason I hear from most forums that do frown at colored text is a reader could be color blind, so they find that to be inconsiderate.

There's also the persistent bunch of people that tend to pick the most obnoxious color that is to the point of being unreadable!

Yeah, when colours are just readable, you'll strain for ages and then be like "wait, I can just highlight the text!"

Actually, it's interesting that all the e-mails sent from the HR department at my work are all a soft, dark blue. I'm assuming that it's because it's easy to read against white, nicer than black and isn't sharp enough to seem aggressive. Subconscious strikes again!

Just that, over and over again, filling up the entire screen. I thought it was in one of our dead threads, but apparently it got deleted. I have a screen capture on my computer at home.

Random fact - I couldn't choose for myself what was more difficult to read - an off-white coloured text or a text written with tiny characters.

Come to think of it, Rick should probably introduce more themes for this forum. And they need to be unlockable. So you earn themes as a reward for doing stuff. That would actually be pretty cool, especially if you get increasingly adorable/hilarious/feel-inducing banner pictures for each theme you unlock a new theme.

Actually, we do have some preferences for font. = P

You cannot abuse the "spoiler" tags - they're for spoilers.

We also prefer you don't use background-colored fonts

Impossible-to-read fonts, be they harshly contrasting colors or way too small, are also pretty much a no-no.

Regarding "unlockable" themes... what would be the achievements? We don't consider post count at all important and, thus, would not incentivize spam. Time on the forums is just a matter of registering and either staying active or forgetting you joined.

I can see why you would say that, but keep in mind that we were just having a bit of fun, and I doubt any of us are dumb enough to use the odd fonts outside of this thread, especially not in a serious manner.
