I've usually maintained that love has no boundaries, and is more a social connection, not so much a physical one. Just as you can have couples who have no social connection but an intense physical one, you can also have couples who have no physical connection, yet an intense social one. FWIW I married my best friend. :)

I'm curious to know the percentage of these chat threads that included a conversation regarding Sleet's gender. We're only three pages in, and we've already had one in this iteration, and I know that we had at least one in thirty-seven.

I hope to someday marry my best friend. I don't currently have one (the idea of a "best friend", to me, implies singularity), so the position's still open. :3

I hope to end up with a girl who can be my best friend. until we get together though, she'd just be my friend. no best.

I don't have a best friend right now either. I have a small group of "really good friends". And I feel like it would be a sleight on the others to claim one of them as being more important to me than the others.

As for marriage... I have no clue. I have no intention of getting married anytime soon, so I haven't really thought about specifics too much.

I have a friend who claims that they won't get married.

And it's kind of strange they say that based on some things I have heard from some of my other friends.

As for me... marriage can wait until I find the right person. If she's not my best friend, marriage can wait.

I had someone in mind, but I didn't start anything because I knew I wouldn't see her again for a very long time.

I wouldn't mind, just that it's not even remotely a short and simple story. It's the kinda thing you hear in pieces told while sharing a pint at the local pub, or when winding down for the day by a campfire on a cool autumn night.

Also, I use 'marriage' as shorthand for "the very very close person you promise to be with forever". :)

Every single one of my relationships has started with friendship. I wouldn't have it any other way!
