those aren't official I.O.U.s and therefore are not accepted. that would be stupid. real IOUs are legally binding and you have to repay it at some point.

plus we know its something to do with the whole neighborhood seeing her as it was in the middle of the street just wonder if it was at night or during the day as that would make it less embarrassing depending on who was around.
