It's that kind of game.

Honestly I doubt we'll see the dead trolls come back. They'll interact via dream bubbles briefly, maybe.

I think that the device could bring us some Aradiabot-like situations. just because they're doomed doesn't mean they can't be useful.

Also, I don't think it's going to function like an Instant Revitalizing Machine. Because they could just find God Tier Feferi to serve the same purpose.

Dang exposition! I really like the whole arc on the meteor. It's pretty chill and I like the idea of the characters hanging out for real. But most of what Rose said I already could've guessed.

Though it's clear GCat is much more important than I thought.

The comic is going to go downhill now because there is simply no way to top that line.

That would be a nice April Fools joke. I think it's likely he's going to take a short hiatus from updating for the purposes of a joke.

New album is out. One of the tracks seems to have vanished while I was listening to the album.

I like "Bronze Page"

Indigo Archer was the one I noticed disappearing. I didn't notice the other one going, but I do know it was there when I started listening.

Apparently those two were plagiarized so they were removed.

I'm a fan of this one in particular. That's some real talent there, and I really like the lyrics. They wouldn't confuse someone who knows nothing about Homestuck, but they've got a lot of double meaning, so Homestuck readers know exactly what it's about.

That seriously ticked me off that someone had the nerve to cheat like that. I spent nearly two months working on my submission and lost, while these two doofusses thought they were pretty clever for ripping off someone elses stuff. ugh XP

To be fair, they didn't take your slot anyway; the five "honorable mentions" were entirely unplagiarized, which is where your piece would go. I wanna listen to it later.

Happy Homestuck day.
I feel like an idiot cause I just now realized why Terezi has that whole preoccupation with 413.
and even moreso, because, despite knowing it's the anniversary today, when I saw a tumblr post that said "Happy Homestuck Day 413" I thought "I guess it's Homestuck Day because of the numbers Terezi uses."
*facepalm*

4/13 is when Homestuck started, it's John's birthday (and Jane's), and it also shows up other places. For instance, the original characters are 4 13-year-olds. There are 4 suits of 13 cards in a playing card deck. Et cetera.

There should be a new flash soon. And the second fan-submitted album is up now!

Somebody's really gotta tell me what's so enjoyable about this webcomic...I personally can't stand having to press 'next' 50 times and still nothing happens...it's worse then a fight scene in Dragon Ball Z.

It's hard to say. Some like it for it's quirky humor and sudden emotional changes. Other like it for it's detailed plot and huge cast of characters. It all depend on your taste.

hahahaha I'd disagree with that pretty hard core.

I think that people like Homestuck because it is so special.

It's GIANT, probably the biggest story ever told, and it takes full advantage of the medium, in a rather ground breaking way. It's not like anything else. It's charm is definitely in how it's being told. If you can't sit through a few pages of nothing happening then you're definitely not going to be able to sit through several thousand pages of a gigantic plot.
Sleet wrote:Okay fine. GOSH.
Man I really hate the new album.
All the tracks are unremarkable and sound the same, which is like the background music for a video game. In the worst way, too; it's all really boring and easy to not pay attention to and I could probably start doing something else and not even notice anything was happening. I don't see how you could make a FAN COMPETITION for one of the BIGGEST fandoms on the internet and pick all the submissions that sounded exactly the same. You had an opportunity to have an album full of new and unique music with a lot of different musical tastes and you totally screwed it up.

Furthermore, none of the tracks have anything to do with the character they're written for. (I'm writing this just as "squiddle song" is starting but I don't give a crap if they managed to get Wandering Vagrant and Bequerrel down because I don't care about those characters.)

Basically this album is terrible and it can go die.

or "both" of the new albums I don't know if Universe A and B are considered separate.

I can vouch for this. It happened to me last night as I was deciding on what courses to register for for next semester.

also, it's Wayfaring Vagabond, not Wandering Vagrant.

So...is anything else going to happen today? Well today for America, here in Australia it's already April 14th but when does April 13th end wherever Andrew Hussie is? I mean apart from Lord English, the death of the author (DOTA nice...) and Andrew's proposal to Vriska (which I assume is mimicking something in real life but may just be a joke) nothing terribly fantastic happened. I don't expect something of Cascade proportions after 10 days but curtains? Ah well, at least it's not the end...i-is it...?

On his twitter he said something about providing us with a REAL update today, and that it should be up later today.
He's got 30 minutes left on the east coast.

EDIT: apparently he updated with a flash, just in time. Everyone getting on caused the site to crash, so just leave it alone and then come back later. do not keep refreshing. :B

Oh man that game was neat. I love Land of Crypts and Helium. Andrew Hussie comes up with the best environments. I'd consider hiring him (if he'd do it) if I were making video games.

What would y'all's Lands be? Mine would be Land of Storms and Glass.

I was about to warn you about linking to SBaHJ but that one is clean!

As far as I'm aware, Lands are just Land of X and Y, where those are two cool things that make a neat aesthetic.

yeah, I made sure it was clean. I know what not to link when it's what I intended to link.

so just two things that make a cool aesthetic, eh? then let's go with Land of Steel and Frost. that work?
