I ship Grapenut, but I like this. :3 I enjoy how Rick can write romance without removing the childish charm of the characters.

I think "your duplicity makes me hot" goes slightly beyond "childish charm"
Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
I like this one! Max has good taste.
Odds and ends. At least Bino was explained away. Forgotten as usual.
Grapenut fans will appreciate one Grapewell scene, I guess.

Maxwell + Grape = Epic cuteness.
It had to be said. I'm going off to go melt down from cute overload, now.

Yet again the canon pairing stabs my broken fanship heart! Good bye cruel world, for I can't live until the next grapenut shiptease! Just joking, it was really cute ending to the one of the best arcs so far.copper wrote:Grapenut fans will appreciate one Grapewell scene, I guess.

You're not, but I can say you're still probably outnumbered.

He probably just didn't participate. He's an adult human, so he's probably much less amused by the idea than the other dogs.

Basically this, much like Tarot and Sabrina, it would be kind of odd if he participated its just not something King would would actively want to be involved in.Sleet wrote:He probably just didn't participate. He's an adult human, so he's probably much less amused by the idea than the other dogs.

Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
Ok you have kind of a point, but that was very soon after Pete had changed him and we don't know if that was Petes magic trying to make him feel more like a dog since he did resist it (plus Fox was the first dog he ran across that was nice to him he most likely wanted to make a good impression) and Petes influence is gone now (for the most part).RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:and playing with a squeaky bone with Fox is?IceKitsune wrote:Basically this, much like Tarot and Sabrina, it would be kind of odd if he participated its just not something King would would actively want to be involved in.Sleet wrote:He probably just didn't participate. Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
I'm pretty sure that was more like King trying himself to make a good first impression on Fox to try to make up for dog napping him. he'd have participated in this war if Fox asked him to do so.
so the real question is, what was Fox doing during this. was he out on the front lines and just not shown, or was he doing something with King somewhere else?

I think there are just a lot of things in this arc that will never get answers Brent unless Rick just straight up tells us, which at this point I doubt he will.

There can't be everything answered in an arc, honestly. but i really doubt there's alot of unanswered questions as you say. The only real unanswered question is how come Grape didn't tell Max? I honestly don't believe we should be delving too deep into it since it's either something not being covered in the context of the comic or she's got her own personal reasons.

Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
Ok your right not a lot, that was an exaggeration on my part, but there are some and really other then Grape not telling Max right away that are completely unimportant (and you can argue that one is really the same way,but I still would kind of like an official answer from Rick about it).GameCobra wrote:IceKitsune wrote:I think there are just a lot of things in this arc that will never get answers Brent unless Rick just straight up tells us, which at this point I doubt he will.

<reads above>
In regards to King: did you guys forget that his soul is now recently at stake? If I were him, I wouldn't be participating in a water balloon war EITHER. I'd be a little PREOCCUPIED, you know. Besides, Sasha was nowhere to be seen either, or Miles.

Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
Fox and possibly even King could have been involved, and we just didn't see them.
Alternatively, Fox might have developed hydrophobia from recent events? Otherwise, I think he'd probably be willing to wage war on the cats.

Wait, what kind of museum are Peanut and Grape at? Either they went to France or they have a copy of the Mona Lisa.

Re: Arc 43: The Great Water Balloon War
After watching so many cop action shows recently, i suddenly got this funny idea of cats and dogs flying off of rails and jumping away from random explosions whenever water gun firing is going on.
Alas, now we will never know.
