Quick info:
-Most answers to questions will be found in the HP! Universe Facts, further down in this post. Check there first, but if you can't find the answer there, post your question in one of the question threads, or if it has become very, very, cluttered, then create a new one. Rick does check the forums, and he does answer questions. Who knows, you may end up contributing to the list.

Links: New to the forums? I suggest taking a look at the following threads and other links about Housepets...
Forum Links:
Forum Rules Yup, we have 'em. Take a look. It isn't wise to anger the almighty furret overlord whom watches over the forums. (Who would be named Rick.)
THE OFFICAL "HI MY NAME IS..." This is our introduction thread! If you're new, post here so that we can welcome you.
Current Comic Since our forum traffic is currently a bit low, all our discussion on the newest comic is contained in one thread. We don't reference what comic we are exactly talking about and there are many points where it turns into general comic discussion, so if you get confused, don't worry. Just talk about the new comic!
Housepets IRC So, you like talking to us on the forums? Well, we also have a chat room, run by Alex (at the moment). When you have a chance, pop in and talk a while.
So many MORE questons... This is our main "question asking" thread, from us to Rick. I got a lot of the facts from here, just so you know.
Character Dossiers Here is an in-depth exploration of some of the Housepets characters: Their backstories and such as we know them from the comic, and speculation around what we know. Caution: Spoilers everywhere!
Signature Requests There are two types of people on the internet: Those who can photoshop, and those who can't. If you're one who can, why don't you try making a Housepets related signature for someone who can't and wants one? Request signatures, for free, right there! Major contributors: Dylan, Thoth, Kyderra, Alex, RaptorAnton.
Avatars The box to the left with your name is lonely! This thread contains a collection of Housepets avatars that the forumites have collected. If you don't have one, you can pick one up here!
Wallpapers Rick doesn't have much time for Housepets wallpapers, so it's up to us! Share Housepets themed wallpapers here.
Chat Thread This here is our general off topic thread. Feel free to talk about anything (within the rules of course) from post count to how your day was here.
Translation Projects: Housepets in other languages! Many are works in progress. There are also some silly, just for fun translations for you to see as well, and a thread of blank comics for the translators to use.
Italian By Valerio (Up to date+“All the King’s Men” pt.1)
Spanish By Lopiko (Lopiko is currently MIA. We need more Spanish translators!)

German By Lynard
Blank Comics These comics have empty speech bubbles for any translators who wish to help translate the comic in other languages!
Wikis:
Housepets Wiki Page On wikifur, this wiki about the comic is still rather sparse, and does need to be improved. At the moment, it contains brief info about the comic and the world in it, and an outdated character list, although it has more in-depth character personality descriptions. However, this results in spoilers, so ye be forewarned.
Housepets: TV Tropes TV Tropes is a wiki site aimed at following recurring themes in media. Clicking upon this link will waste three hours if it's your first time there, so caution. Be warned, there are spoilers here as well.
Rick Related: To learn a tad bit more about the artist behind the comic.
Rick's Deviant ArtRick Griffin wrote:I am a student at University of Alabama Huntsville, working for far too long on my English Degree (with a minor in Classical Studies). Besides the comic, I do regular type artwork and story-writing.
Fairly regular-type anyway.

Characters:
The cast page can be found here. Although it isn't entirely completed, Rick plans to keep working on it. In the meantime, here is a complete list of all characters, from main to minor. The use of the characters, and the true cast page, determines the characters' placements here. So the characters' placements can easily change in the future. For a more in-depth look at some of the characters check the "Character Dossiers" listed in the links section above, though be warned for spoilers.
Main Characters: The comic's stars!
Peanut Butter Sandwich
First Appearance: 6/2/08 Comic: When Boredom Strikes Arc: Imaginate!
Also called: Peanut
-A rather happy go lucky dog who loves to play games of all sorts. He's also a fast reader and creates a comic, The Adventures of Spot. While he can succumb to peer pressure, he's still a very caring person. Yes, he has a crush on Grape, the cat whom he lives with.
In the recent events of the comic, has a new girlfriend: Tarot.
His fur is brown, and he has blue eyes. His collar is red, and his ID tag is shaped like a bone.
Grape Jelly Sandwich
First Appearance: 6/2/08 Comic: When Boredom Strikes Arc: Imaginate!
Also called: Grape
-A snarky cat that is creative, but also very lazy. So rather than coming up with a solution to a problem, she'd rather hit someone with a frying pan and go take a nap. She's generally smarter than most of the neighborhood dogs, and also takes care of Peanut despite the fact that she's younger.
Due to recent events in the comic, Grape now has a boyfriend: Maxwell.
Her fur is purple, and she has yellow eyes. Her collar is also purple, and her ID tag is shaped like a fish.
Major Characters: The other stars of the comic!
Bino
(Pronounced Bine-o. Not Bean-o. It rhymes with dino.)
First Appearance: 6/16/08 Comic: A Mournful Situation Arc: The Game
-A mean, selfish dog that is the co-founder of the neighborhood dog club. For the most part, his time is spent harassing other dogs and attempting to lead the club, or scheming. He actually gets most of his respect through his brother, Fido, since Bino is rather mean himself.
His Fur is brown, and he has a large spot on his back, which is a darker brown. His eyes and collar are green, and his ID tag is a standard diamond shape with a "B" on it.
Fido Bryon
First Appearance: (lines) 9/3/08 Comic: Our Sacred Duty (In person) 9/12/08 Comic: Mmm Foot Flavored Speech Arc: Fido's Return
-In a nutshell, Fido is the perfect dog. He teaches pups how to read and write, is in the local K-9 police unit, and is noble and great all around. He's won multiple track and field competitions and just plain out helps all pets.
...except one thing. His girlfriend is a cat, Sabrina. Illicit interspecies relationship, anyone?
His fur is brown, and his eyes are orange. He is taller than most pets and has a stronger physique. His collar is green, and his ID tag is a standard diamond shape with a "F" on it. In addition, he usually is wearing a pair of round shades, has Spo on his head, and he has a dark brown spot over his right eye.
Maxwell
Also called: Max, Maxie
First Appearance: 8/27/08 Comic: It's a Dog Thing Arc: Fido's Return
-The most annoying cat, ever. He's quite a bit of an ally cat (as evidenced by the bite mark in his ear) and pretty much knows every cat in the neighborhood. He lives with Bino, and often harasses him about the dog's social structure.
His fur is black, and his eyes are a turquoise color. He has a blue collar with a large bell on it. He also has a very large, distinct bite mark out of his right ear.
Tiger Arbelt
First Appearance: 8/18/08 Comic: Yup, He's Over It Arc: One Offs #2
-A dog with quite a few mental and emotional problems, mainly stemming from his unfortunate name. This is why you don't name a dog after a cat!
His fur is beige and has orange eyes. His collar is purple, and he has a standard round ID tag with a "T" on it.
Supporting Cast: What are the main characters without others to interact with?
Fox

He can cope...

Daisy
