I don't know about the Dissension sketch but I know the Rick drawings are really just a guess. I have no real idea what he looks like so I had to rely on the drawings he has on his DA. Having said that, the references are as follows:http://rickgriffin.deviantart.com/art/R ... -116453267(you know that Telemachus has a really sinister slasher smile ) ,http://rickgriffin.deviantart.com/art/S ... r-15795121( bad eyes? I doubt it, mine are probably worse), http://rickgriffin.deviantart.com/art/S ... -176914258(the guy in the center), It's really no different than how I would draw a fictional human character. I would assign certain personality traits with physical traits and vice-versa, in fact the process was often a cyclical one. Anyways, @CaptainPea is your hair as crazy, crazier or less crazier than you have have drawn in your cartoon self-portrait?

QRS3000 wrote:CaptainPea, is your hair as crazy, crazier or less crazier than you have have drawn in your cartoon self-portrait?
Depends. It's obviously a caricature and all, but I don't hardly ever comb my hair, so its shape is at the mercy of the elements. And which side of my head I slept on. But it does sometimes form itself in a shape not dissimilar to what I drew.
The idea, though, was that it was my hair being relatively orderly. If it was supposed to be really wacky, I would've exaggerated the shape to death, trust me.

I like talking about myself, If you can't tell. You probably shouldn't give me opportunities to do so if you don't want a lengthy answer.

I didn't know those existed. I only knew he had a beard thanks to Two Twig's guest comic.

How about a colored version of that drawing?Image Mind you, it still might not look anything like him but It should still look somewhat decent. I wasn't entirely sure what to put in the background so I added a cheesy red to black gradient. The theme was suppose to be the color red to give a sense of warmth, I suppose. It just doesn't work if I use blue tinted colors because it starts to look depressing. He doesn't look too old, does he? Also, I don't know his exact ear shape so that's why the ear looks odd. I hope this drawing isn't too bothersome.

You know, I think I'm undergoing a bout of depression right now, I never completely stopped crying since yesterday, tears flowing with the slightest hint of sadness in anything, and I feel really, really weak right now...

And I don't know why, but I drew this one scene from Honey & Clover II, between Hagu and Takemoto, all the while listening to this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rPDqmGyTYM

Image

I also will not be around for a few days, while I go out on a long trip, hoping to lift this depression away from me. Till then, see you guys later....

Double post again (-.-')
I had a very long talk with my mum, and now I feel much better hearing her assurance and advice. I also called my brothers and chatted for a while. :D

Feeling much better, I did this drawing of us three together, while reminiscing the time that we last spent together.

Image

I'm the eldest among the three, Nyxx is the middle child, and Takeshi Beawolf is the youngest one. But in terms of height, my youngest brother is the tallest (6' 2''!), followed by me and then Nyxx.

Also, Nyxx is not a furry, but is a fanatic of black cats, so much so that his friends and guild members calls him Miaow XD. So, I drew him as a black cat.

We rarely see each other now, with Nyxx now studying in Japan and I'm studying in a different state, and I miss those two rascals :)

P/s: Saudara means relatives in Malay, but it can also mean blood brothers.

The sheet makes her seem a bit sparkly, but she's more practical. All the sparkly elements (wings, seasonal forms, magic, hypersnuff, etc.) are really downplayed and hardly present at all. I actually didn't know a lot of that stuff until the sheet came out.

I did the sky. Which is probably the only thing you can't make out properly. I'm the one with the green shirt that looks like he wants to do bad things. THE SUN WAS IN MY EYES I WAS TRYING TO GRIN AND BARE IT. Not shown: two other classmates who helped some.

"...I say my name is Fred, and I've been...very naughty." I used an excerpt of the "Freaky Fred" poem for this drawing http://www.ratemydrawings.com/drawings/ ... 00952.html "Freaky Fred"© John R. Dilworth. I'm sorry if you were expecting this to be closer to the original creator's art style. By the way, cool artwork Psykeout. 8-)

Was there any sort of reasoning to the mural other than looking cool?

That's probably #1 on my list of things that I want that would be kinda useful but that I probably shouldn't buy until my computer is fixed. But yeah, I can see taking a while to get used to it- I've used some cheaper ones a couple times and they're impossible to figure out at first.

Technically, it's supposed to be an Art for Peace thing.
I just realized that we failed pretty epicly in that respect.
Also, just today i received a larger picture with just the mural wich may or may not contain my incriminating last name.
