We probably would see Princess Luna more if there was an actual story line. There's just not much of a use for her in 22-minute plots. I wouldn't be surprised at all if she showed up in the season finale.
...Watch this show get Invader Zim'd and we only get one season. D:

It's kinda sad. The head creator of the show, I forget her name, actually wanted to do a continuing storyline, continuing on as the first two episodes were, but executive meddling happened...

I like continuing storylines, but FiM is good as it is too. Even though Lauren Faust couldn't have a continuing storyline, she does a very good job with keeping up continuity and consistency.

some people think that the ending arc will be the Grand Galloping Gala, since we never saw it

Oh yeah, I didn't mean to imply there was anything wrong with shows with no overarching plot. I'm just more annoyed that executives meddled.

Y'know, it's funny. I'm willing to play Kirby games, listen to upbeat rock music, and fav cutesy artwork, but when something like this comes around, I hide behind a tree. A very cute tree. Regardless, I'll give this a shot when I can. I watched a bit of it yesterday morning, and it wasn't bad.

Ya know I've started watching this because of ya'll! I've only seen like three episodes so far but I love it! Rarity and Rainbow Dash are my favorites! Though I do like all the ponies, they're awesome! Also my friends think it's awesome or weird that I watch it!

I thought I'd hate this episode. I didn't. It was entertaining, and cute.
At the same time, not one of the better eps. It reinforces my opinion that Fluttershy just isn't a very interesting character.
And how have we gone all this time without knowing Sweetie Belle is Rarity's sister?
I did like the song. That was awesome.

That was a great episode! It's hard for anything in a series about pastel-colored talking ponies to be legitimately badcuss, but Fluttershy getting in a cockatrice's face and aggressively talking down to it is pretty much as close as it gets. And the girls were cute too. :3

Okay, that's my new favorite episode. The Cutie Mark Crusaders were sooooo cute, especially during Sweety Bell's song! And Fluttershy staring down a cockatrice was awesome!

My parents found out I watched My Little Pony (Facebook helped), and my fairly internet-savvy friend asked me about it (knowing the internet's obsessed with it. She saw one episode and seems to think it's ridiculous, but is conflicted on whether it's in a good way.
