Direct Word on the Nature of the Universe (also, TV Tropes)

Do I have to really keep telling people this? It crops up from time to time. Please, shut up if this ever gets into your head again, and if anyone assumes other than this, smack them in the head and point them here.

The entirety of the comic strip universe is not a cosmic game of Dungeons and Dragons. There is a cosmic game represented as a Dungeons and Dragons proxy being played by cosmic beings within the universe. Why? Because I have to draw this strip three times a week, that's why.

I know most of you already know this, but there. I thought it was explained enough in the comic itself, but apparently it wasn't.

If you'd like to talk about something more wide-ranging in this thread, here is the link to the Housepets TV Tropes page. Discuss what should and should not be here.

I've actually forgotten completely about the whole Universes and Unrealities deal.... I whisked it off as a dream

I feel for you Rick, one little arc can mess up a whole comic, it'll pass :D

*hugs Rick tightly*

Wow people still don't get that  I thought it was obvious from the comic. Oh well hopefully they get it now.

Edit: As for the second part of the topic even if I'm still saying it might one day (I don't want to get into an argument about this though) Cerebus Syndrome needs to go this comic is still a comedy with minor amounts of Drama the Drama hasn't taken over yet.

I took the Cerebus Syndrome trope off of the page because it wasn't accurate.

Now someone needs to work on the picture.

I know full well how easy it is for people to get a warped view of a world you created... I feel your pain rick. :(

The problem with creating a World (ie, a webcomic) is that people ask far too many questions related to real world physics. XP

In regards to physics, The laws that can't be broken can most cretainly be bent. Yet If rick wished to do so he could erase them from his world compleetly... This is Rick's world he can do with it what he wants. Let us all just accept that.Tis much easier that way...Lots less to think about. :D

*pats Rick-Sama on the back*

Sorry to hear that you're still having trouble about this, man. I'm sure you don't NEED to hear this, but don't let them get to ya.

And as for Cerebus Syndrome...we're walking on some very, very shaky ground here. Housepets! as a drama just wouldn't work very well, let's leave that to the fanfiction, 'kay gang?

It's when a lighthearted work with a loose plot becomes darker and more focused on drama instead.

Just you wait until Monday's comic, in which Grape wanders off alone in the forest, and in a flashback explains how she has vowed her vengeance on the one who has wronged her.

Tis a little late for that.

Seriously though, this comic will continue to amuse us in its "normal" way for a long time to come. :D

Can it be used as a metaphorical reference to explain something?

*EDIT*
I'll take the awkward and presumed angered silence as an emphatic NO and just walk away slowly never to bother you again. Have a marvelous day kind sir.

If we can't question the furret then we have to make very bad assumptions, which is what lead to this mess. :(
