The girl should be Arlene. Nermal the kitten is missing. Not 100% Housepets! style, though, because there aren't the custom collar pendants.

I'm actually a little disappointed about the background though. I wanted Paris to appear behind the window (because Bioshock Infinite: Burial At Sea invaded my head recently) but i've horribly failed :/

We missed an opportunity for Paris?!? The Queen city of cats?!? *Explodes into green maple leafs*

I'm happy that I got Stu to do a Grape and Maxwell commission and it's something I've been dying to see for a long time: A nice piece of fanart of a normal date between these two with fancy jewelry and a well dressed cat. Though I was tempted to ask for a tie on Max, I think the bell is better. =3

And yes, I just had to be the waiter. And I do look good, don't I? *chuckles*

The art is good but I have one complain: Grape has a dumb face. I mean, seriously, it looks like she's about to say "Hi, I'm Daisy", don't you think? I think Grape is not made to smile ever, excluding evil and mischievous grins of course. XD

And why Max looks like he's lying to her? Or perhaps hiding something? Is he tapping in the table? Seems like he has a rush to leave the place, don't you think? That's suspicious...

I think it suits her just fine! The whole point is the both of them are just having a normal date with no crazy awkwardness going on (except that green cat, whoever he is. <_< >_>) and they are dressed for the best of the occasion. I asked Stu to have both Grape and Max chatting, but this detail here is actually better when drawn by him, which I too enjoyed more than what I thought. It's like she is easing up to Max far more better than before.

I don't think the sweat on Max matters much, but I think it's comical in another way: He's got Grape's full attention tonight. He can't let up. x3

I think she has more that face when she played Concord, but as an artist... reviews must be made by others :/

I actually wanted their faces to communicate something without words... not necessarily one thing in particular. I guess it's just better to have something like this
