I understand. On the one hand I well understand the enthusiasm for role-playing, but on the other hand, this is online, meaning that aside from people being available at different times, they live in different time ZONES and so you might be playing while other players are asleep. And I also understand the resentment of waking up to PAGES of an RPG that you have to read through just to catch up so that your character can respond. The trick is finding a balance between running the risk of leaving some players behind and running the opposite risk of making other players impatient and frustrated.

Man, it looks like once again I've had the wrong idea about these RPGs....

I thought Wendy was going to be the lowest self-worth of the characters that existed, but once again I'm wrong. I'm really concerned about Parker now, and I do NOT like Autumn at ALL.

Summer is chasing Dale.
Dmitri, Darren and Fran are headed to Fran's house.
That leaves Wendy, Parker, and Alex.

Right now I'm posting a bit more just because the two characters I'm controlling are alone with just one other character each (and they're responding)...so I don't think I'm stepping on anyone's lines.

I'll slow down if in larger groups of characters, just so everyone has a chance for interaction.

Also, I had a question regarding brief or pointless human interactions? Like when Darren, Dimitri, and Alex got locked in the cellar by Mr. Hyde, while Mrs. Hyde shouted down to them it was time for lights out.

Can we control the 'parents' of the pets if it's just one line once in a long while, like I did then? Or do they count toward our character pool?

yeah, you can control any human type character, such as, if you go to a store you can control the clerk, or an employee or something..

one thing you can't do is control other players parents and stuff, though.

-Back-story-
Darren was separated from his parents when he was fairly young. He was accidentally packaged with a large shipment of grapes on export to the United States from Chile. Upon arriving, as luck would have it, the man that found him in the crate had a brother that worked in the circus. Darren was able to get a job travelling with the circus as a side show for the younger children. He interacted with the puppets in a puppet show and loved entertaining the children. During night’s he would brush up on his acting by watching movies. His caretaker in the circus was kind enough to teach him how to read, as well. When the circus went out of business he asked to be dropped off at an exotic pet-store in hope that a young child’s family would adopt him so he could continue to entertain. What he didn’t count on…was Anna. He was bought by the Hyde’s to stop Anna's temper tantrum; she absolutely had to have him as a pet. He’s been living in Seabreeze Harbor for the last year.

-Strengths & weaknesses-
S – Sweet-talker
W – At a foot tall, he has certain…limitations; is okay with the dark, but NOT okay sleeping in it.

* The Hyde's have a five year old daughter, Anna, who insists that Darren is a girl.
* Anna loves to dress Darren in doll clothes.
* He has an earring, a plastic clip-on that used to belong to one of Anna's old dolls.
* He HATES being dressed up, especially if it's in girl’s clothes.
* Darren generally tries to stay as far away from Anna as possible, sometimes going as far as leaving the house. As long as he’s with other pets of the neighborhood he’s okay with being outdoors.

Just to warn you though, there's some stiff competition on "Cutest Character" since Chewy's Wendy has joined.

We can just assume Addison went home with her 'dad' before all the stuff happened in the cellar during Day 1 and slept in during Day 2's morning.
