Sometimes there are small chunks of the cork in wine,you can serve the wine disregarding the chunks if you pour it through some clean fabric.

I know a lot about wine. It's a very common export where I come from.

I was asleep, so I didn't see it. It felt and sound like we had just run over a big stick, though, it wasn't that exciting really. It was better once I was up and watching the lightning that was going off elsewhere, it was far more dramatic.

I don't know the first thing about earthquake safety; I just ran into my driveway to see whether anyone else was doing anything... I won't last long when the world ends.

it was apparently felt up in Connecticut. and was centered here in VA.

I saw my house moving. I just stood up and got ready to leave the house if I started seeing things fall.

I'm not exactly in the earthquake capital of the world.

But yeah, apparently this'un was centered in Virginia and shook the whole east coast.

The biggest earthquakes we get here in [REDACTED] are usually 2-3's. They don't come very often, and when they do hardly anyone notices them.

People sure are quick to freak out over things.

Personally, I'd be excited to be caught in that, even if it is dangerous. I've kind of always been like that. x3

Yep. The New Madrid seismic zone is over there. We sometimes get tremors from earthquakes in that zone.

That one in Virginia was the first earthquake I felt though.
