Not much to recap. It's only a few Hlaroo posts since the Quoll declared TWO WEEKS LATER. Everyone's woken up, haven't had breakfast (I'm not sure what Leslie's up to) and Piper's been kidnapped from the shop. Chip has also appeared in Flynn's kitchen in a bedraggled state. Lucky's on his way to the house.

To remind people, Leslie's senses are hyper acute thanks to experiments in his first days. He has learned to use them normally and doesn't know they're better than others. On a quiet night, I can hear sounds from a mile away. So can he. But he can't do anything else about the truck. He can't describe it, for example.

I must admit I'm slightly enjoying the fact that even I don't know if Leslie's got this right or if he's leading a wild goose chase...

I did consult the map and it does make sense to have some sort of lights - main or pelican crossing - across the road by the playground and park areas.

What's a pelican crossing? I've heard of zebra crossings but not pelican crossings...

Pelican crossings are the ones with the red & green men symbols/Walk & don't walk. Many of which are silent.

Ah, okay. I didn't know they had a special name! Now I do!

Fun fact for those of us in the UK. Most new crossings are silent and some have had their bells removed. Why? They were for the blind and there's now a stud underneath the 'console' that you press up with a finger. When the man is green, that stud rotates.

Ours beep rather than having bells, and the beeping for the red man and the green man is different. Red is slow and steady whereas green is a lot faster. If you put your hand on the "console" you can feel it pulse with each beep so you can tell when it changes that way too. The slower beep is high pitched and the faster beep is lower pitched. The "console" also has a large arrow on it which points in the direction you have to walk to cross the street which helps blind people find their way if the "console" isn't directly facing the road. Relaying a 'battle scene' in a PG RP requires very tight writing and wording. I hope I got away with it.

The colour change for Juniper was requested.

so I just thought that the RP was taking a break but it seems like my schools email doens't like this website and doesn't tell me when I get the emails and sends them to the trash... so what Im going to do is change my email on here and return sometime after september 15th. I have to fininsh filling out my Vet school applications by that time so I wont be able to focus on anything else.

Yup. I added to it so I deleted and reposted. There was quite a gap of time.
