Not that huge.Zander wrote:
There are no rules specifically for making your own thread, other than the content rules that apply everywhere. You can go ahead and make a thread whenever you want. However, we already have an art thread in the "Media Median" subforum, that I think will fit your photography nicely.Beagle wrote:You know, I've got two new ideas for threads. One could be here, in the "Not the Comic" forum, and it could be a Homework Help thread. Since, you know, we've been using this Chat Thread for such things.
And the other could be under the "Media Mania" for people wanting to show their photograpy. I know I have some awesome photobucket pictures, but no proper place to show them off.And I still feel too new to make a thread on here.
Anyone like the idea? I could maybe it myself, if others thought it was a good idea.... But then again, what are the rules for making your own thread? If I'd have to moniter it... there will be days that I don't get on too often, and I feel it'd be an Epic Fail. ^^;
You have nothing on my friends screen. She literally has like an imax thing. Obviously she's richZander wrote:Senator_Sunburst wrote:I have finally gotten my new monitor.

I actually had a similar idea, but I wanted to focus on science subjects alone.Beagle wrote:You know, I've got two new ideas for threads. One could be here, in the "Not the Comic" forum, and it could be a Homework Help thread. Since, you know, we've been using this Chat Thread for such things.

Fake.
Also note photoshop opened in the bottom.
The highest documented screen resolution is WHUXGA(7680 × 4800), but Im not sure if there is even any commercially built and sold hardware that supports that resolution.(the screen itself and the video hardware) Probably not.Zander wrote:https://www.housepetscomic.com/forums/v ... 806#p68806ReCreate wrote:Look at the scrollbar.Zander wrote:

I didnt think people would take it seriously

you just need to set it to strechSleet wrote:I'd have trouble with a monitor that big. How am I supposed to find wallpapers that big?
technically.. Photos are art, when intended. just like statues are art, but you cant really "Post" them.Beagle wrote:Teh Brawler wrote: There are no rules specifically for making your own thread, other than the content rules that apply everywhere. I know this is a little late, but when I posted this morning, I was sneaking on at school. Bad, I know.
Anyways.... the Art Thread... isn't that more for like drawings and stuff like that? My photography is real life stuff, like nature. I don't think my pictures would make a proper fit in that thread.![]()
Would y'all be cool with it if I made a photography thread?
Yasee, I hate doing that. It distorts images, even if it's the same ratio. I like finding things the right size that don't need to be scaled, and then manually make them the correct size for my monitor.mariomarc wrote:you just need to set it to strechSleet wrote:I'd have trouble with a monitor that big. The DPI would be horrible. Even with a full HD TV. TVs make horrible monitors.(even if connected through DVI or something)FlintTheSquirrel wrote:The bigger the better I always say.

Good luck on doing that!Sleet wrote:Becoming a doctor, getting through my four books I haven't read, and improving musical skills on three instruments, mostly.
Note how this response is too shortly made after my last post.
