"Glom" is, like, the swallowing process. It is different from "gulp", that is more an "ack!", sudden fear.

I know wonder if spike has some subconcious memories of Matt and while Spike is teaching Primo, the orange dog will realize how Spike and Matt look like not only in the phisical appearance.
