And Sirius Black - he was a dog for quite a bit. And if we're counting accidental or forced transformations (which I'm assuming we are as the only Draco animal transformation I can think of was when he was briefly turned into a ferret as an impromptu punishment) Hermione had that mishap where she accidentally turned herself into a human-cat once.Argent wrote:Lots of furries in Harry Potter, actually. Draco, Minerva, Wormtail, Lupin. James Potter was Prongs. I don't know if the nasty reporter's beetle counts.
So, yeah. Plenty of furry-transformation elements in those books.

Catgirls could be considered Weeb territory as easily as furry territory though. there's a bit of crossover there.max7345 wrote:And Sirius Black - he was a dog for quite a bit. Could have sworn I posted earlier.
I'm seeing a parallel between KIng's transformation and Thomas'. KIng mistreated dogs, like Fox and Thomas was an jerk to Sophie. She seems to have forgiven him after recent events.
It seems that Sophie is thinking it's hump day. It does bring up the earlier moment between King and Tarot where she said "I don't date humans."

it probably doesn't help that the curvier and more intricate a font is the harder it is to scale it accurately.

that's mostly if it's just cat ears and a tail, maybe paws. I just love Human-turned-Animal scenarios. That's why King's adjustment to his new live is one of my favorite parts in this comic. I actually hope there will be more of these in the future^^

Hey, Thomas has hair on his scalp now!
I wonder if this is a Pirates of the Caribbean thing where he’ll remain cursed as long as the gold is outside of the room. Heh, Sophia could do some pretty funny things with that. X3
Maybe they can become residents of the zoo, and get married and have lots and lots of cal- *booted and shot*

Sophie, please girl ... Have a little self-respect. Being a failed human being does not necessarily foretell a promising career as a camel ..
Douglas, that's an intriguing idea about quadrupeds. Rick's only had a couple horses and a deer before Sophie, that'd be a new trajectory for the series. Happy Veteran day (even if you're not). Regards.

Now I want to see a strip where Sophia is quoting romantic Arabian love poetry and Thomas is oblivious.

Re: 2017/11/10 - Equal And Opposite Reaction
It'd be funny as well if they run into the other pets, and one of them can understand her, and are just completely confused and disturbed by her sudden affection for Thomas, who, meanwhile, is begging for translation.

Re: 2017/11/10 - Equal And Opposite Reaction
We really need a spell of understanding - Sabrina could probably cast it. Or Dallas’s universal translator could pick it up.
The other pets would probably initially have no idea who Thomas and Sophia are - they’d probably think Keene had sent them to help. I could see Thomas using the pets to get him to the “real treasure” faster.

Actually, I'm rather certain he can get out, since if Sophia can wiggle in, what's to say Thomas can't wiggle out? There's still more than enough clearance for Sophia's hump.Argent wrote:Hence my joke above about Thomas being too greedy to turn himself back even if that meant he was stuck in the room with the gold.Douglas Collier wrote:I wonder if this is a Pirates of the Caribbean thing where he’ll remain cursed as long as the gold is outside of the room.

I just imagined where this comic could end. With Thomas and Sofia standing in a Zoo while Thomas desperately tries to convince anyone that he is a human and Sophia is all lovey dovey about him, not letting him go^^
Or maybe... there will be soon more then just two camels

When did Sophie wiggle in? In that last frame Sophia is outside the room and her hump is higher than the top of the door when she's already laying down.John-056 wrote:Actually, I'm rather certain he can get out, since if Sophia can wiggle in, what's to say Thomas can't wiggle out? Or... you look at the frame where he's throwing the sack: he has to crouch down as a human to get through. Camels are WAY bigger than humans.
Finally, it makes narrative sense.
