No, I'm referring to the chimera at the bottom left, if he's from the fan comic tsMKG mentioned earlier then he was banned from heaven and most of his power was taken away from him.

I had a feeling it was a chimaera. Then again, Hollywood has done quite a bit to jumble up which monsters are which in Mediterranean mythology. Heck, I used to think Scylla looked like a many-headed dragon-lizard... thing.

1. We don't know how he died, so how do we know he's just here as some ethics thing with The Game?
2. If he died in his sleep, presumably age, wouldn't that mean his siblings would be there since they'd be of the same age?

Meh, This is still gonna be a hard thing to swallow.
People (and animals) don't die of "old age", what happens is that as you age the odds of something vital breaking down go up.

And I seriously doubt that shouldering the burden of his dad's dream and working with Karishad had helped Keene's blood pressure.

Though, while it's possible that he had a heart attack or stroke in his sleep, it could also be that his death was so sudden that he didn't notice and he ignored Cerberus until she picked him up by the scruff of the neck.

For anyone that's confused about what we're talking about or only reads as a guest on the site, me and tsMKG think that's the chimera from this comic but in bipedal form.

I think Keene isn't dead, he just has an out of body experience or whatever they're called

The orientation building honestly looks like a carnival attraction; everything may well be pre-recorded as a general presentation.

They're having a really nice time, and Breel is the top of the cuteness. :D Ehm, Keene, don't say so, because looks like you're going to stay there forever, maybe wondering how you've been able to, anyway. :P Well, that big text says it all. ;) Oh, finally you've realized where you're being, Keene. :) I understand your reaction, but now must be the time for an explaining. I don't believe you're really dead... :|

Even if Keene is really dead, I wouldn't be TOO worried.
Given the universe (multiverse?) Rick has set up, I have reason to believe that Death Is Cheap.

If they're doing this only to tell him he's not dead later on, it'll be worth it just to see his reaction

I registered because something here is bugging me.

I don't think we've seen any humans in heaven so far. Maybe it's something where they go to a separate afterlife, but doesn't that seem kind of sad? To see a family split up for eternity?

I'm probably over-thinking this.

I'm still holding onto my belief that Keene isn't dead and only visiting. Now the question is, if Keene's NOT dead, then how did he get into heaven?

I really hope he's not dead...

An orientation building next to a waterpark and rollercoaster.
A female chimera (no lion mane).
An okapi that walks on two legs.

I think I may be seeing crazy things.

Also, I don't recall that chimera guest comic.

Breel: Why, the news that you're dead!
Keene: Oh, my God!
Breel: Relax. We actually do have vanilla! See, we initially tell people we don't have their flavor so when we tell them we really do, it makes them happy.
Oohh boy. We're actually out of vanilla. That's never happened before. Still dead though!
That a United States Papa reference I'm seeing?

Ah, I missed that part. Ok, so humans are there, we just don't see them very often.

I still want to know what that bet was. It feels like something was implied, given the alt text, but it also may have been purposely left ambiguous...

Also, on an unrelated note, I just noticed that King's ring is on the wrong hand in panel four.

If it does, I certainly hope it isn't the endless torment version. It makes for a completely unjustifiable reward/punishment system.

Unless he lost a bet or something. But yeah, I know it's just a coincidence. With that job, I can just picture her turning to the audience and saying, "Eh, it's a living."

Hmm, given that Keene doesn't remember how he got there, I wonder if this is all just a dream (or at least a near-death experience from something very traumatic)? Also, I can go for some corn on the cob.
