Housepets!

Now I have to apologize for introducing a third character, but hey, at least it's not permanent. However, how the time flows slow in the RP, he'll be here for at least 4 pages or so..... so I guess I'll put the character sheet for him, too.

Gary is a dark dark dark dark orange cat (Just like the one in the third panel of this comic. The upper-left one). There's not a single spot of his fur that is covered with another color. His tail is shorter than most other cats. His eyes are black.

Personality
A little bit of a jerk, he turns everything in a joke. He always stands up for himself, and never gives up, even if it means that he'll have to use extreme violence to fix a problem. Known as a troublemaker. He's talkative, with his tongue faster than his mind most of the time. Usually he's not being serious, so if he offends you take it as a joke. However, he knows when to be serious. He hates the look of his eyes for no apparent reason, therefor he wears shades almost all the time.

Other notes
-Gary has been training martial arts, and he won the silver medal in the national pet competition. Better not to start a fight with him >_>
-Avoids water more than anything.
-Plays the bass guitar, but he's not that good at it.

Rushed post, sorry, new character.

EDIT: K, now its 36 points. Sorry about that, I remembered the strength-cut thing, but I didn't know about the 36 points.

Did you remember to half it's strength for smaller characters? I think a cardinal would fit under that category.

I got a little bored so I recolored Grape to look like Amelia.

EDIT: Ok Jimmy...does it look strange now?

Not as strange, but it still bothers me....

the ears still look separate to the head.... or at least that's what i see.

Maybe I should tell you that recoloring is not really an exact science.

and I'm back, feels good. for those who don't know i was just taking a break from the RP for a while i didn't really go any where.

Noticed. Welcome back, jazzman, we missed ya.

-Appearance-
Iiro's fur is odd shade of black that resembles very dark blue. His collar is black with a little Finnish flag.
He has a quilted vest with white and blue vertical lines.

-Personality-
Iiro is a silent type, often thinking about different beliefs and myths. When he's spending time with someone he often just listens.
Iiro is known from his impressive willpower. When he gets mad he'll go pretty berserker.

-Background-
Iiro's family came to USA because Iiro's "mom" had inherited a house from her father. So, they moved to the house and lived there couple of weeks, until they learned that there was a rule that you can't let any pets outside the house at anytime and that allmost all of the people of the town were animal haters. The people tried to pressure Iiro's family to get rid of him, but his family loved him too much. Iiro tried to get his family to leave the town, but his "mom" had made a oath to her dying father to take care of the house and Iiro's "dad" couldn't leave his wife alone to a huge house. After a day of thinking, they decided that Iiro should move to his own house that's not too far away and that his "parents" would pay his bills as long as they could. Iiro left from the house on the next day to his own house in a place called Richardson Valley.

- Iiro has lived in Finland so he knows how to speak finnish.
- He likes to watch Land before time movies.
- He has a pen pal in Finland, who is one of the few he tells about his feelings.
- When having too much free time he plays a kantele the national instrument of Finland

1) Currently, not much is happening. Some pets are at The Wall, a cafe that most pets go to, and Mai, Alex, Pyxis, Amelia and Lucky are at Lucky's house. I kinda forgot if some other pets are somewhere else. I suggest reading the last 2 pages in order to understand what's currently happening.
2)Time, eh, let's say it's around 15:00. Weather - sunny.
3)Yes, just take the map, and say what house you'd like to be yours. You can't pick someone else's house.

Hey guys, I'm back after MONTHS of being away. What's happened so far in the RP? There's, what, 30 pages of that stuff now? I do not want to read all of that to catch up! (At least, I hope I don't have to >_>)

You don't have to, however, I suggest reading at least the last two pages. Buck promised on doing another updated arc list, but he didn't do it yet, so........

I've been busy. I'll try to do it by tomorrow. And good to see you back Jump. You disappeared like, when I joined. The RP developed a bit of...what's it called? Cerberus Syndrome? out of curiosity, are those ears fake?

it's just how it's coloured, honestly, the way the ears are light are so completely utterly different and the cheek fluff is just in the way in the exact right spot that they look disconnected. if you had a really good program you could probably make it faded or splotchy (eh, dependin on the cat) on the head a little bit just to get the idea across that it's just a change in colour and not a completely different ear without too much difficulty, but i dunno. not like it affects me anyway 8D

Its just to get an idea of what the character looks like Ebly, I was just trying to make her more easy to describe...And I think I achieved just that.

Jazz is kind a bit creepy cause he's pitch black and very quiet. The only thing on him what's not black are his eyes, they are blue(similair to eyes of a husky). He's wearing a white collar(so that other animals can notice him when it's dark)

Personality

Jazz isn't very social but he has a few friends(mostly one). He likes to help people if they are in big trouble. He's a good listener but not very speakfull. Mostly of his time he's spending in his neighborhood playing basketball. He likes chalenges especially if it has something to do whit basketball.

Other notes

He's a highly trained military dog who left the military for some private reasons. his sense are highly sensitive so nothing could approach him unnoticed

No, I've never thought luck is something that you rely on, but rather something that's there.

Luck is not a skill or intuition, more an unknown force that sways the unexpected in either direction. When luck intervenes, for better or worse, there's not much in the ways of stopping it. It's not Del's fault her inventions seem to explode all the time, it's not Dijin's fault the worst thing seems to happen at the worst possible time, it's not Lucky's fault everything seems to go his way, things just do. And that is the nature of luck, and there's nothing that can really stop it. But more importantly, very good luck and very bad luck stand out. Picking the worst luck score possible means that your character's bad luck should be really evident.

Sure, his senses may get him out of a couple of random bad luck situations, but sooner or later, even when nothing can go wrong...

With luck 2? Something will.

It's like how my character has a charisma 2, but can get around it by simply making sense and talking logically. But on occasion, there's simply nothing he can do to change someone's mind or make them listen, even if he does make sense and his option is the best course of action.


And that's what I'm saying.

Mind, the difference between a 2 and a 3 is very, very great. Del (a mouse) has a strength of 2, while Venison (a dog) has a strength of 3. He originally had a strength of 2, but I changed that somewhere along the lines when I realized I wanted him to be stronger than a mouse. Minor stat changes are okay, if you're reallocating one or two points. Even then, it's a rare occasion to do so...

*cough* I'm rambling. I'm just saying, "careful with your stats." If you have really bad luck, we want to see it occasionally, okay?

I don't think you understand how much luck seems to impact your character, 2 is like ungodly bad luck so you are going have to write some random thing against your character most of the time (or maybe all the time with 2). Remember, 5 is the average stat, so 4 would be still bad luck (but not as severe)

OK thanks for your advise. I will change his luck cause I really don't wanna that he slip every time when the floor is wet xD(just a sample), and thanks to Buckdida(I couldn't put it in that post because of to many quotes)

Also, you should edit your post with the character sheet. Just click "Edit" in the top-right corner of the post. Also keep in mind that the points together must not be greater than 42.

Yea I have decided that his luck should be 5 because so it's average and thanks, I will edit my character

Yeah, average is best IMO. Also, have you decided what house is going to be yours on the map yet?
