Tesla keeps scanning the area from the much higher point being on Met's shoulder, with her perked up ears—but her eyes drift to Storm to look over the lioness. "Still, it's always good to listen in case something truly is wrong."

"So, where did he get he-" He stops talking as a fat droplet bounces off his nose.
"Her. Huh." The roo looks up at the sky.
"Er... Those clouds look rather angry."

Joey sniffs the air.
"Smell that? I think we're about to get wet."

"A little rain won't hurt us, maybe it won't be that bad," Maria said. then Met pointed to the very dark ominous clouds rolling towards them.
"okay... so who wants to check out the caves under town?"

"Ow! Let's get out of this hail first!" Joey suggests as a thunderclap splits the air and the heavens open. Before he can take two hops however, another sound interrupts their afternoon.

Tesla puts her paws up over her ears. "That's me," the fennec fox calls, starting to make her way for the exit. "Everyone make sure you have your means of contacting family and follow me!"

"Got mine! Ow!" Jack said after checking to make sure he had his cell phone with him before he covered his head with his claws to keep the hail from hitting him. He followed the fennec fox out of the exit.

"oh dear" Storm exclaimed, a bit shocked and spooked from the sudden loud noises. Covering her ears as she ran after Telsa, she asked, a bit too loudly "Does this happen often?"

"No, not that often, here," Met replied to Storm, as he made sure he had his phone. "Alright, let's all get to Tesla's house. We can cover more ground faster if the bigger pets can get the smaller ones," he said as Maria jumped onto his back.

Tesla keeps her paws going, doing her best to maintain a decent pace in the hopes someone will scoop her up because—unfortunately—her small stature has her at a bit slower. "As long as we don't start hearing anything that sounds like constant, dull thunder, we have some time. Just keep moving," she implores.

Tesla takes a moment to adjust to having been scooped up... and the bouncing from being carried by a 'roo. She does start pointing though. "Th-that way," she says, then calls a bit louder, "Follow Jake and me!"

Jack barely had time to register what was said before the lioness scooped him up and ran with him. He wasn't going to complain, considering she was faster than he was, even as he dangled awkwardly and upside-down from Storm's arm.

Bounding through the town, Joey does a double take as he crosses an intersection, staring down the road leading out into the fields.
"HOLY MOLY!" he yells, pointing at a towering, dark funnel that twists, writhes and lunges like a striking snake, visible despite the haze of rain and hail.
"My gosh! FASTER, EVERYONE!" Jake yells, flinching as a horn blares.

a short moment later, a reddish brown Jack Rabbit opened the door. "eh, what's up, docs?" he asked. "what'cha doin' out there, there's a tornado comin'?"

"We kinda got caught in it and don't have time to get to one of our houses, can we come in?" Met explained.

"shur ya can, wouldn't want ya endin' up in Oz," the rabbit said stepping aside.

Still dangling from Storm's arm, Jack looked at the jack rabbit upside down with a confused expression. He suddenly had the urge to turn to a random direction, hope there was a fourth wall there he couldn't see, and tell a witty joke. However, all he could think of was "I'm pretty sure there's a "Jack" pun here somewhere, but I can't think of it."

"Huuh..." The roos look at the stairs, then at each other, then at the stairs again. Having only lived in the human world for six weeks this is actually the first time they've had to use stairs and they're not quite certain how to approach them, especially with the size of their feet.
