Operator Please
New "Logic" Single released February 8th, 2010.

I've already pre-ordered their album Gloves which is to come out later this year.

I love Operator Please. Everyone who actually knows them only knows them for Just A Song About Ping Pong but they've also had hits with Get What You Want and Leave It Alone. Personally my favourite song of theirs for a good long time (may change with the new album) has been Two For My Seconds, which apparently was also popular enough to warrant a video. By contrast, in their new album they really are going in a completely different direction. Their single actually illustrates this perfectly, as it's wildly different to their other material - though I like it all the same! I am yet to decide whether I like it better, worse, or if it is just as good to me. Anyway, the single is new enough that it is without a video, but it has been enough of a hit so far that chances are it is going to get one sooner or later. Here you go for now, and remember, it's completely different.

Just found a song called Coyotes Don't Disco, and it's really addicting. I'd link it, but it's on FA and the guy's gallery isn't clean by any means, though the song is.
So, search it if you wish, just be careful.

if the song is clean you can link it. you have to be logged on to FA for it to be dirty.

Ok, so, I know this is a thread for posting music you like, but since the question I have is music-related, I figure it's ok to ask it here.
I'm a big fan of happy hardcore music, but I wasn't really aware of the genre until tonight. So, now that I am, I ask, does anyone have any good suggestions for websites/artists/songs that I should look up in regards to the genre?

Ick.

Okay Ebly, no mudslinging about musical taste. Naughty Ebly. Just reply like a good boy.

You probably know about Scooter already if you are into Happy Hardcore in the least, and on the same note, if you like Happy Hardcore you probably like UK Hardcore (and most people consider them exactly the same thing anyway).
So on the UK Hardcore thread, you probably want to look up some of the really massive ones. Darren Styles, Scott Brown, Dougal, Gammer, Hixxy, CLSM, etc. - I would normally be surprised if you didn't know them, but if you really did just find out about it tonight then I assume nothing!

In terms of Happy Hardcore, I'll just throw you two aussie DJs I know of that make a bunch of mixes and post them up on youtube. They also have their mixes available for download sometimes. Anyway, the important part of linking you to these two is that they put the tracklistings up sometimes, which is good because though they will obviously use popular Happy Hardcore tracks to keep it relevant, they'll also throw in an obscure one now and then.

DJ Ravine - the music in that particular video starts about :50 just so you know, but anyway check out his other videos cause he has a tonne of them.
Same goes for DJ Cotts though I should mention he doesn't have download links anywhere near as often as Ravine. His tracklistings tend to be as annotations on the videos.

Anyway, remember to actually click on their names and look at their other stuff too!

I hope you enjoy.

That's a huge, help, thanks so much. I had already heard of Scooter, but my exposure was limited, so that helps.

EDIT: I got to thinking about this one, which I LOVE. It WILL get stuck in your head. :D

Generally I prefer crappy mellow indie music, but in terms of knowing what I'm talking about, electronic music is the genre I am the most at home in. Even then I don't know very much overall, so bleh.
