Suddenly I just imagined a human with only the face of a tiger. It was scary.

Try "Sphinx".

A Sphinx is half-Human half-Lion, not mostly-tiger facially-human.
It's seriously different.

Why not, it fits the description 90%, other than the fact that she's not creepy, but cute.

Lemme guess, what happens after the "touche" part is the picture
of your avatar when you find out that gasping doesn't help.
My caticons have been re-uploaded btw, that means I can post in

And don't hold back on her facial expression, because that is the best way of telling if someone's okay with it or not.

Nothing, people can just be judgmental and think badly of someone based on the things the affiliate themselves with.

The...less tasteful portion that we're not going to mention outside of this sentence, that gets more attention than the majority of the fandom. Opinions are very easy to taint with the tiniest bit of misinformation and misleading.

Well, it's kind of a long story on how it all went down, but the impression I get from her is that she doesn't really like furry stuff all that much, but she's not entirely opposed to it. I don't think it's a subject we can talk about very often. She's an artist, so she has a good amount of knowledge on different art forms including anthro, and she knows about the fandom...

Me and my brother are furries, and our oldest sister thinks that's creepy, and our other sister thinks it's a whatever thing, and our other brother, from what I know, doesn't know about it, and same with our parents.

It's mostly Leo who spreads the word though, because I'm not much of a social guy. |D

I don't have any friends I know in real life that I could tell, so I'm stuck not knowing what the general opinion is. Kinda happy about that on actually. :3

That's a good attitude. It's not really a big deal, so if they don't know, what's the problem? Telling 'em just complicates things.

Speaking of complications, I worry about if my mom finds out I drove six hours to get to a furry convention without telling her.
