So I recently got a used drawing tablet from my sister, and I don't fully understand why, but controlling my pc using a tablet and pen just gives me a feeling of unnatural power

Your subconscious brain mistakes the pen for a magic wand ... or is it "magic(k) wand" now?
Re: Chat Thread 43: Good Ol' ArcWolves' Club (Voting's hard,OK?)
I feel like I've worked myself into a creative corner.
- I've taken more and more responsibility for the fan game that's been stuck in development hell after four years now, in fact haven't made proper progress in months.
- I haven't even finished the story for another fan game that I said I would do.
- I took suggestions for fan comics on Discord in order to get the creative blood flowing, of three ideas only one has been done.
- Haven't made progress on a series of images I've made to show off more of my OCs after the last one.
- Haven't done any personal works in a long time.
- Haven't bothered to start the next chapter of my story.
- Haven't even finished sketching some simple images of some of the side characters intended for the story.
- Decided to expand a bit on my existing characters by writing out dialogue for all of then in a theoretical pre-combat scenario, but with how many I have, only halfway through with the second character.
- All of this compounded by the fact that most of my time now has been being at the hospital to see my mom (she's no longer intubated and she's finally releasing retained fluids, so that's a plus, at least)

I feel you, man. I also believe that the current stressful situation you're under is likely bleeding into your creative life.
Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.” But [The LORD] said, “Yes, you did laugh.” - Genesis 18:15 (NIV).
Re: Chat Thread 43: Good Ol' ArcWolves' Club (Voting's hard,OK?)
I agree, your creativity will come back, just hard to be motivated when you are understandably fatigued, don't be too hard on yourself D-Rock, that's a lot of projects and sometimes we all need a break. It sounds like you feel under obligation to churn out artwork and stories, that can't help, I think anyone would understand that that is difficult for you at the moment and pressure does tend to kill creativity (some people thrive on it but it does for me anyway).
Furrygamer, get yourself a copy of Krita if you get chance, it's free and works well with a tablet (if you don't have this already).

Yeah, the guilt of not being "productive" is heavy but also bad for you when it comes to burnout. Especially given everything that's happening to your mom eating at you constantly, you are allowed to take a guilt-free break. Make it as long as you need to. Your mental health comes first
"Productivity"'s a scam anyway, so double gulit-free

Re: Chat Thread 43: Good Ol' ArcWolves' Club (Voting's hard,OK?)
Today I have been hit with a big case of depression and self-loathing. Why you ask? Because I always feel when I like something I only find it when its too late. In this case, I'm talking about YEARS too late. It starts to drag me down over time. My timing is starting to suck more and more and I wish I could be perfect with it. Its just something I will have to learn to live with I guess. For example I found a guy who I think is really cool and who roleplayed in the past on FurAffinity and wanted to chat him up. Except he is no longer there as it has been half a decade since he last posted. I just hate when something like that happens.

I didn't know you frequented furaffinity Amazee, I think a lot of forums seem to be getting quieter these days, people seem to be splitting off into smaller groups which is a shame, maybe this person is still online on another site now?

Forums are rapidly being replaced with more accessible and similar in function Discord servers now.

As with Housepets, patrons seem to come and go over time at Furaffinity. Getting hit several times with hackers hasn't helped.

Yeah I do and while I did manage to get the person in question to reply back to me after waiting for a bit I'm not sure if the stuff that he did 12 years ago is still applicable to him now. I wish I paid a little more attention to stuff in 2009. >_<

20 years ago today the world changed.
I know some reading this weren’t around then. Everyone is aware of the effects of that terrible day though.
Today we take a few moments to remember and to pray for all those whose lives were touched by this tragedy.

I am still trying to get over the fact that we have adults now that weren't born before 9/11.
Re: Chat Thread 43: Good Ol' ArcWolves' Club (Voting's hard,OK?)
I share your sentiments, Hla.
I was in high school in 1962 and I remember the Cuban Missile Crisis very well. And what I also remember is so many people were convinced that we were all going to die, that we'd step outdoors or be dozing in study hall, a Soviet missle would land and - FLASH! BANG! and then ... nothing. Several of our teachers could not hide their sense of helplessness and impotence. But, mercifully, it didn't happen ... then.
Then, too, for the first time ... I understood what Pearl Harbor (five years before I was born) did to my parents and their generation.
Does every generation have to go through such a trauma?

Maybe not but it also depends on how you deal with it too. I think I dealt with it pretty well over the years. First I was terrified of flying because I was afraid of the plane getting hijacked. Now its not flying I'm afraid of but the anticipation of taking off and the turbulence.

Re: Chat Thread 43: Good Ol' ArcWolves' Club (Voting's hard,OK?)
Plane flight is supposed to be super safe nowadays, what with everything they learned from the various plane crashes they were able to recover the black boxes from, and the heightened security and protocols specifically because of 9/11, but that still doesn't stop me from being a little fearful I'm gonna be a victim of a plane crash if I ever get in one. Plane crashes are a liiiitle hard to survive.
However, I did travel in a plane a couple of times in order to visit Romania with my Romanian partner. Once going there, once going back.

Wonder where the wolves are in this current crisis?

I think he is talking about the wolves within the comic as we hadn't seen them for a while. Pretty sure they are in Heaven right now enjoying whatever they like to do on a bigger scale.

Ah, that's a point, wonder if they might make an appearance.

If they do make an appearance, I wonder what they will have been doing since I would like to see their hobbies presented on a huger level.

Honestly have been missing Poncho and Natalie. It would be interesting to know more about them, we really don't know anything about them but they're very memorable characters.

They've both been "missing in action" for some time ... Natalie might be doing minor support roles in Goosebumps and Bino doing walk-ons in Paw Patrol but I don't see them returning any time soon.

I don't think they would be part of the characters Rick has decided not to show anymore but I do really want to know what is happening with them. More specifically I want to know if Bino finally has had enough of Duchess and broke up with her.

Well, Rick did say Heckraiser would feature a ton of classic characters so who knows?

Thinking of drawing up a new icon, it’s long past time for it, but not sure what to make it. Comic screenshot, comic edit, wholly original, and what should it even be? I’m taking ideas. Of course, nothing too complicated, it has to fit a 100x100 square.
Well, I think for the time being, going to use Ollie’s amulet.
