Scotty not appreciating the thought there Tinnier ?
Liking the Skunkifications of forum members you have done Hukley, you have a real knack.
Here is my addition to the Surfeit of Skunks (what a group of Skunks is called, apparently), a quick doodle, hard to know how to shade with all that black and white going on .....................

Great job. I like how you mix naturalistic and cartoonist art into one hybrid style that is uniquely yours.
Sarah was afraid, so she lied and said, “I did not laugh.” But [The LORD] said, “Yes, you did laugh.” - Genesis 18:15 (NIV).
Re: Art Thread
Thanks Rydr, I didn't really try drawing cartoons/comic style until relatively recently so I guess the realistic style is kind of ingrained, still trying to find my way, but glad you like it. I think there is a real skill to being able to draw things in a comic style way, proportions and line are everything I feel, fur is a real challenge.Rydr Warklub wrote: ↑Mon Sep 06, 2021 10:02 am Great job. Not bad, Daunted. Nice skunkifications
I made another drawing of Scotty, this time in my art and not in my comic style.
Flower Boy offers you a flower, will you accept it?

I'm ace, sorry. Also, as a human dating an animal would be disgusting and illegal.
All jokes aside this art looks amazing, great job Tinnier.

Lovely work from everybody here as usual! I wish I could be blessed to have your talent!
Re: Art Thread
It’s more skill. We’ve all been working at this for a while.

Re: Art Thread
It's also talent. Just accept the compliment, D-Rock(!)
Re: Art Thread
“Talent” only goes so far, and it could be discouraging to others. It’s merely our starting point, but “skill” is what we nurture to become better regardless of our starting point. I look back on the first times I drew my characters and realize how far I’ve been able to grow.

Oh, that turned out nice. Very well done, Rocky

Re: Art Thread
Really nice work everyone!
Here's one where Holly (left) gets caught in an awkward moment by a (now ex-) boyfriend, Payne Bow (right).
Holly: "Payne! T-this is not what it looks like!"
Payne: "Well, looks to me like you were rummaging through the trash. I thought you were above that."
Holly: "Hey, I'm not that kind of dog! I accidentally threw out a receipt!"
Payne: "Really? A receipt for what?"
Holly: "For a toy I got for a friend. It turns out that she gets creeped out by bones."
Payne: *Looks at the receipt* "This is only for 2 dollars..."
Holly: "So? That's 2 dollars I want back! Don't judge my frugality!"

Re: Art Thread
For some reason I feel that Payne should be caught by Holly in a moment he can't live down. Just to make it equal and to show that embarrassing stuff DOESN'T always happen to girls.
Re: Art Thread
Great work Nicky, good premise for a drawing, now I'm wondering was it a Canine friend that of holly's that found bone creepy, intriguing.
