Who's That Pokémon?

Post by FlintTheSquirrel »

I'ma try my hands on making a game.
The rules are simple, the player needs to post the information on a pokemon, preferable from a card or Bulbapedia website.
The next person needs to try and make a guess on which Pokémon it is to the best of your knowledge. And after that, they post their own Pokémon trivia.

Example:
Person 1: The flame at the tip of its tail makes a sound as it burns. You can only hear it in quiet places.
Person 2: Charmander.
One arm alone can move mountains. Using all four arms, this Pokémon fires off awesome punches.

By catching the Aura emanating from others, it can read their thoughts and movements.

P.S. If you got any suggestions on how to better the game, I will take them into consideration.

Pikachu. :P

Its giant jaws are actually steel horns that transformed. It fools foes into complacency with its adorable gestures, then chomps them with its huge jaws.

Errh... is it Mawile?

This marine Pokémon has an impressive build that lets it freely fly over raging seas without trouble.

(Yes it is.) :3
Manaphy?

Usually found in power plants. Easily mistaken for a Poké Ball, it has zapped many people.

Voltorb! (or Electrode...same thing)

It slumbers at the bottom of a deep trench. If it flaps its wings, it is said to cause a 40-day storm.

That's easy. Lugia!

Also, it's not Manaphy, it's Dragonite.

It was created by a scientist after years of horrific gene splicing and DNA engineering experiments.

I figured Aaron's was Kyogre, lord of the sea.

I know that one Alex:
Mewtwo!

I am thinking of a very negative pokemon.

Is it Minun?

Also, Kyogre doesn't have wings...

Commonly found near mountain trails, etc. If you step on one by accident, it gets angry.

I believe that's Geodude. ;)

Even though it has no eyes, it can sense obstacles using ultrasonic waves it emits from it mouth.

Zubat.

It claws if displeased and purrs when affectionate. Its fickleness is very popular among some.

Mine was Glameow.
Yours is Furret. :3

The pattern on its belly appears to be a frightening face. Weak foes will flee just at the sight of the pattern.

The pokemon is the spider one, Ariados or something.

This legendary bird Pokémon is said to appear only when a thundercloud parts into two halves. ;)

No, the one Flint described has got to be Arbok!
And yours is Zapdos, obviously.

This Pokemon leaves behind it a rainbow when it flies.

Ho-oh for sure.

It makes electricity with pouches in its cheeks and shoots charges from its tail. It lives atop trees.
Though it sounds like many, just think what I would do......

Shu... Sha... That bush one... the one that can turn into a reindeer...

Shaymin? Something like that...

It is able to take in large amounts of air and dive to incredible depths with just one massive breath.

The two fish I know that need to surface for air are Wails and Dolphins. Since I know of no Dolphin. I will have to guess Wailord.

It blasts internally stored sand from ports on its body to create a towering twister for attack.

Hippowdon.

Its first evolutionary form is very, very, very weak. Once it evolves, it becomes VERY powerful.
Extra Hint: (Water type, was owned by a Team Rocket member at one point)
Let me tell you about Homestuck.

Eevee has got the highest number of evolutions (though it can evolve only in one of these):
I° gen.

Vaporeon
Flareon
Jolteon

II° gen.

Umbreon
Espeon

IV° gen.

Glaceon
Leafeon

(I love EEevolutions :D )

my pokemon is very active in the night and is usually followed by a lot of his pre-evolutions

That makes me think Gliscor.

It swims by rotating its two tails like a screw. When it dives, its flotation sac collapses.

Drifts in shallow seas. Anglers who hook them by accident are often punished by its stinging acid.

Torterra is my guess this time. Because of the shell.

________'s two antennas are filled with cells that generate strong electricity. This Pokémon's cells create so much electrical power, it
even makes itself tingle slightly.

Flint, mine was Honchcrow ^^ not Gliscor

Your's is Chinchou or Lanturn I think

It has the power to predict the future. Its power peaks when it is protecting its Trainer.

No, wrong again, is Gardevoir :P

Sableye

Very smart and very vengeful. Grabbing one of its many tails could result in a 1000-year curse.

When the heavy rainfall season ends, it is drawn out by warm sunlight to dance in the open.

My guess would be Geodude though he is already stone so that does not work.

Rolls down slopes to move. It rolls over any obstacle without slowing or changing its direction.

During the daytime, this Pokemon plants itself in the ground. It is rumored to change the shape of it's feet to become similar to the roots of trees.
