Today I felt inspired to clean out my closet in preparation for rearranging my room. Got rid of lots of toys and junk I'll give to Goodwill, put in the basement, or throw away. My cat and typhlosion were a big help. The next step is to clean out my bookshelf.

My cat was always a big help on projects like that … and with phone messages (especially if I was taking notes with a pencil).

Going crazy trying to search for my bathing suit because I'm going to the beach again tomorrow (and hopefully there won't be any shark sightings keeping us out of the water for 45 minutes.)

I was thinking of staying home all day since it's so hot out, but I always wind up going stir-crazy or feeling lazy. I'm gonna be headed to the mall to see what's new, maybe grab a couple new shirts, and get some lunch at the food court.

I was going crazy and swearing up a storm trying to look for the plug to my hair straightener. When I get seriously stressed out, a minefield comes out of my mouth.

Dang, that sucks. Did you at least find the plug?

I'm making some lunch at home, then headed to the gym to lift some weights for a bit, and then home again to relax.

Now I'm packing for a trip to go see my grandparents up in Vermont. They moved into a nursing home which is up close to Canada.

Since summer is ending my friends and brother decided to meet up. We went out to lunch, played tennis, and chilled at one of their houses and played Guitar Hero.

Today the big No Man's Sky update was released, so my friends and I tried it out together. We were thoroughly impressed. The new VR mode in particular was lots of fun.

EDIT: Oh, and in the real world I put up the last of my posters, completing my room renovation.

Went to the gym and got some good weight lifting in, and after that I came home to relax and completed Torchlight 2. That was a blast. Going to be headed out to eat tonight with family in about an hour or so.

Yesterday I went on a day trip to Chicago. We had fun at Navy Pier, ate good food, and explored downtown. Today won't be as exciting :P

Honestly I'm not sure even IF the kittens are our older cats niece. The guy we got them from, while he was a very nice and helpful guy who had a horse and two ducks on his property, couldn't figure out which cat was related to which.

Nothing real special today. Lunch at home, then the gym for some weight training, then back home to work on clearing out my backlog of games, as well as catching up on shows that I've been missing out on.
