I really like this arc in which we see pets being themself.
It's really fun.

Also very cute to see the two of them like that and how Tarot helps Peanut out, even if he is a bit childish

Nothing to freak him out here...

Tarot: Here drink this. (I made it especially for you. Green tea is not normally something I would give you but since you seem to finally be growing up, I thought I'd try.)
Peanut: Is it a magic potion?
Tarot: Tea. Good for many ailments and purifying the body. (Since you are being so well behaved today, I think you are finally becoming a mature adult. Maybe all my hard work is finally paying off. No longer will I have to put up with your childish antics and misdemeanor. Not that your youthful disposition and whimsy doesn't have its charm but there is just something about this new mature attitude that I can't help but find attractive. This is a new start for our relationship.)

He might just look skinny because you are looking at his neck rather than the rest of him and he usually has a collar on that might make him look a bit bigger.

Also let's not forget in the last arc we saw a lot of the more buffer characters from the comic, so it is a bit jarring seeing someone more normal.
Also maybe it's because his fur is wet and a bit sticky.

On a side note:
It's really cute how Tarot's tail is wagging in the first panel.

I should hope it's decaf ~~magic(k)al potion~~tea because caffeine is bad for dogs in real life. Then again, pet physiology doesn't always cary over to the Housepets! universe.

It does raise the question of how many times something like this has happened before. I'm not talking about Peanut being drugged but how many times Tarot's had to mother him.
