Ultimately, even if the well is almost certainly gonna end up destroyed (It feels cheap, but that's the way these things almost always work), I do hope Keene gets at least some mana out of it in the end. Even if I also still think he really should've been here in person rather than leaving something so important completely in the hands of others.

Also, as I said before, unless Peanut's found some Spell Books, a Weapon or maybe even have the Limbo Warframe's Powers stowed in that dapper top hat, unless Tarot can be reasoned with, or beaten with Logic, Peanut's going to be next to useless in this fight if Tarot aims at Team Sandwich after beating Team Nerd.

Quite the Sore Loser she's being right now, something I suspect she's picked up from Dragon... And to make matters worse, I think she's rushed on ahead of the rest of her Group, since her Were-Tarot form seems to take up the whole lift, and Mungo would suffocate if he's in there.

I'm guessing Tarot is not true final boss; since the "Source of Unspeakable Power" is on tags(and apparently it had appeared before), it must be somehow sentient so let the apparently inanimated object suddenly take a titanic monster form and force every party to work together :3

Seriously, do you think Tarot's doing this to play Tiddlywinks? She's been getting even more aggrivated with each passing page, and only NOW she uses her Werebeast form!?

She's intending to attack the Nerds, and from the fact that she's pulling the door open, she's alone in the Lift and has likely either left her Team behind, has betrayed them, or had used the lift before anyone can get in, thus doing the former two things that I mentioned, since she left them behind while they were distracted.

Also, Source of Unspeakable Power? I've seen Tags used on mere objects for funzies, though not in this comic as of recently since the Tags are being freshly reinstated with the new site, to describe things of importance. While there's a chance of it becoming a threat, how do we know that isn't a Bait and Switch, and the real threat isn't Tarot acting on her 'Duties'/Greed for Power?

I highly doubt this is her being a sore loser; there's more at stake here than winning or losing the dumb race to the bottom.

Funny thing is, the stated purpose is that Tarot is to Drain the Mana Pool...

...But what happens if she does? There's a high chance she would go mad with power the moment she gets the chance.

And besides, what's to say She has to do it? Isn't it odd that the Pet Teams have at least one Celestial on them? Why are they here and each on a team? The likest reason is because they're just using the Teams to escort them there, then bail out with the Mana.

The other reason, is to defend the Mana. Act as Sentinels to make sure unsavory hands don't touch it while keeping it stable... Kitsune, however, ruins that idea because compared to the others, he's a Demigod, while they're Angels/spirits, much weaker than him and not as important.

So unless his disappearance post-dimensional 'escape route' is intentional and merely not him being off-panel again, the Teams are being used by Celestials all over again to do their dirty work. Not really that different with how Dragon was like.

...But what happens if she does? There's a high chance she would go mad with power the moment she gets the chance.

That assumes that draining the pool involves absorbing or using the power in some way. I pictured the process to be more like grounding a capacitor, one big spark and then the power's gone.

Oh, that's a shame, I was hoping we'd get to have some fun with the 90-something other floors, didn't think it'd just end at the montage. Kinda makes the "100 floors" gimmick rather pointless, it could have been fun to play with for some bits.

...3 nerds with the minds that of young teenagers (and a celestial trickster demi-god but Tarot doesn't know that) are about to receive (seemingly to a mortal) unlimited cosmic power without even knowing it is, what it can do, or how to use it and none of you think that's reasonable reason to cause alarm!? Y'all really ARE stretching the Tarot hate out a bit, there's reasons to dislike Tarot but come on now . Yes, I do believe it's completely possible that she might lose control a bit if she DOES get the mana like many people would, and she would have something in mind considering she really misses her celestial foresight, but i highly doubt she's gonna become a villain. If anything she'd have a cartoon lesson about how she doesn't need her power and she might break down a bit yada yada character development, but that's about it. She's not perfect by any means but she's not unreasonable. (but do feel free to say "told ya so" when she is completely and clearly the actual antagonist once her motives are officially revealed and her actions if she does get the mana show to be selfishs, I'll take that hit honorably)
Also I'm not really getting the "Peanut's party is gonna have to fight her" thing considering they're on the same side if not neutral to the conflict. Maybe they'll try to get it for fun, I'da know, there just doesn't seem to be a reason for them to fight anyone but Joey's party (who people keep seeming to forget were kinda jerks throughout most of this up until the puzzle part to some degree)... ya know besides the were-fight.

Not sure I agree with the rest of that but yeah, Cheke has a point: That avatar fight was not a "battle until the other person is K.O'D". If Tarot intends to fight, I think she's long gotten over the concept of and been trained to think past what level of "defeat" her opponent is at to achieve her goal. Now if THAT'S your reason for claiming her to be an antagonist in this PG comic than I wouldn't blame ya, you wouldn't be wrong there.

Just a heads-up ~ not hating Tarot. Just pointing out that fighting your friend's parties TENDS to be bad. Of course, I also expect them to walk away and say "Well, with the fate of the world involved, we can excuse that.". Which Is understandable. As for Tarot fighting Peanut's party, I'm worried Tarot might push it too far. She already told Max her job, so there is signs she will definitely deliver on her promise on that.

I also suspect that mana is going to seriously buff up Grape. That's my two cents.

I think more along the lines of Elder Scrolls Online, when your character gets a Skyshard by absorbing it. That's how I think Tarot would drain it.

Same with the Celestials if they are here to use the teams.
