I think there has been some misunderstanding. Unless they got there as the portal was closing, none of them should know that she is from off-planet. As far as they know right now, even if she teleported, there isn't any reason to assume it was from another world.

Heh. Well, she did answer the questions she was asked. Honestly, she's only answering so freely because 1) she figures that with a telepath in the group, she can't hide or lie about anything anyway, and 2)while she needs to hide her nature from the humans so she can live among them, she has no enemies in this universe to threaten her over her secret identity. I hope that all of that isn't too crazy for everyone, 'cause that's just kind of standard for her universe.

Everyone's powers would have to be seriously buffed for them to compete. Lots of characters, especially villains, in my universe have World-tier powers and very few weaknesses. I have a hard time balancing powers because I hate kryptonite and I like larger, more impressive battles. I balance things by making the major villains just as, if not more, powerful as the heroes.

Hence the troubles importing a character from my universe into the HPU.

Also she'd have to give everyone special suits or gadgets that keep them in their forms, otherwise they would just turn into regular animals and she wouldn't be able to communicate with them. Which would mean it wouldn't be like the Gallifrax protocol at all...

That is, unless there was a non-HPU RP taking place in that universe...

It was thought Tarot was translating Peanut for some people but they were all wearing Green and turned out to be Spirit Dragon. Spirit Dragon kept her powers but, y'know, goddess.

So I was reading back through the last fight in order to produce that paragraph and I came upon an interesting piece of trivia. 04 is apparently capable of reading Rig's mind to some extent, whereas Sandy is not.

specifics are still cyphered by a language barrier, but she's better at decoding general mental concepts rather than relying on the words ones mind associates with them. A skill sandy lacks, due to not remembering certain things.

I've only mentioned it twice or so, so it's understandable that you forgot about it. She brought lots of stuff in that bag of hers. Spare clothes, her father's utility belt, her special water bottle, food she can actually eat without testing it, her size-small prosthetic arm for her wolf form, about 100k in cash...

She put it down next to her. She wouldn't leave something like that out of arms reach of her.

It's fun to be creative.

For example, other substitutions include "Butterscotch Pudding," or "Coconut Creme Pie."

I've got holidays and desserts on the mind. No idea why.

Really though, it's just a habit. I made a promise to my mom when I was about five that I wouldn't swear. I stuck to that promise, even past the point where she forgot I made it to her, and past the point where it was probably reasonable. Eventually I reminded her of the promise, and she admitted to having completely forgotten, and so I don't have to follow the promise anymore IRL. Though, going 22 years without swearing once is a hard streak to break.

Hey, the filter is there for a reason. ^^ If you want to swear and let the filter catch it you're perfectly allowed to do so and you won't get into trouble! You only get into trouble if you deliberately try to write swear words so that the filter can't catch them. Replacing swears with harmless expressions or #&%$* type stuff is fine though. ^^

I tried to get it that, although Kaylee got it right, she didn't get it RIGHT. It's not the fact Noah would have put back the trigger memory (as I recall) but the fact Sandy would learn there was someone playing with her memories in the first place.

Eh, he might not KNOW it, but he could probably guess it. His opinion of 04 is that anything she says is for Sandys own good is really just meant to let her keep a chokehold on her mind. For example, he's CERTAIN that there's a way for Sandy to know the whole story about her background, but that would require 04 to stop mind wiping her whenever she feels like it, AND require her to actually put some effort into helping Sandy become mentally healthy, and Noah doesn't think she cares about her puppet enough to put even the slightest bit of work into helping her. He also doesn't think she plans on keeping the promise Socks says she made, thinking at best she lied to him, at worst she brainwashed him while they were alone.
So yeah, long story short, he tends to assume the worst of anything 04 does.
