What is your favorite Strip?
I decided to try out making a topic, since their is one for which one you joined on, I guess it would be good to have one for favorites.
My favorite was:
It was one of the break points when I was reading and I just could not stop thinking about it through out the school day.
How about y'all?

OMG
There are MANY and MANY strips of this comic that I can call 'my favorites' for a reason or another...In fact, I can honestly say that ALL the comic is one long, favorite strip to me.
So, if you wanted to wrestle me into picking up the uberfavorite strip... Here goes nuthin'

Well, this comic IS about Peanut and Grape in the end, Rick. Naturally we have mostly Peanut and Grape comics thus far.
I'm surprised we don't have more King posted yet.

Re: What is your favorite Strip?
Oh wow, there are so many I like that I'd have trouble choosing just one. However, while there are very many strips among my favorites about Peanut and Grape being cute, I'll go out on a limb and choose this one, due to how different it is from the typical choices:

Tiger's neuroses amuse me way more than they should.

Re: What is your favorite Strip?
Now that I think about this, I don't actually like the comics that tiger is in as much as the hilariously brief death threats that he always delivers to bino in the last panel. I must say, almost all of my favorites are from when the comic was still black and white. Almost all. My two favorite arcs in color were the whole barn arc (I loved it for its awkwardness), as well as the vet arc (sucking on a lolipop... SLAP!) But this is specific comics in which case mine would be:
http://www.housepetscomic.com/2008/12/3 ... he-ritz-2/
Because fiddler and keys' back and forth conversation works so well and because Simon and Garfunkel are amazing. This is actually what inspired me to start drawing musicians (yes, I went through alot of drawing phases) which eventually formed the characters of my comic (which no one will ever see because I don't have the knowledge or the tools to put it on the internet) So yes, thank you for this, my favorite housepets comic.
As for the black and white comics, I really enjoyed the more relaxed story lines, more nonsequiter jokes and such. Not to say that I don't like the current comics as well, but I just feel more nostaliac about the older ones.

Re: What is your favorite Strip?
I am to this day amazed at how Rick can have powerfully emotional comics like this and still always has a punchline. When I write comics, which I consider myself pretty good at, I never manage to mix the two, it's either comedy or serious. So the apparent ease with which Rick shrugs off that barrier is incredible to me.
It was also this comic that established King as my favourite character, with the comic 2 strips later (https://www.housepetscomic.com/2009/12/ ... u-hanging/ ) making Fox a very close second.

i bet that's not a satisfactory answer

I love any strip with King in it, but my favorite is probably http://www.housepetscomic.com/2009/07/0 ... the-mouth/
Not only was the comic hilarious, but there were so many people trying to make sense of it, when in reality, it's just a couple of farm girls(cats) teasing an innocent city boy(dog/Peanut). Wonderful
