Sorrow; my phone that I had replaced is acting the same as the last phone did when it started to die. I might have to save up and buy a new phone or convince them to downgrade me to a model that does work better.
Joy; I am getting my dads truck, which is nicer and better than what I have right now.

My friend Phil has had a miniature stroke. He is still mobile and cognizant but the doctor said that he might develop dementia later in life and it could cut his life short.

My friend Brad is afraid that he might possibly get a divorce. He's been married for 10 years and I'd hate to see that end.

I wish I could help but I am completely helpless and that makes me sad and angry. Its a sickening feeling, frustration. That feeling of being angry and helpless.

Sorry to hear that, RHB.

I know what it's like to feel angry and helpless. I've had two family friends and my grandfather taken from me by cancer so I had to watch their gradual decline while being helpless to do or change anything. I know that's different to what you're going through but I do know the emotions so if you need to talk about anything or you need someone to lean on or just to hug and let out some emotion then feel free to PM me any time.

Sorrow: Lost my phone at the theme park today. The locator that google provides is useless because I didn't have location services turned on. But hey, there's a silver lining. I locked it with a password, there's a message on it and it's now, hopefully, ringing at full volume for a good 5 minutes.

Joy: The food my mother sent me has arrived. A can burst. Everything smells like Progresso Rich and Heavy Beef Pot Roast. I don't know how to categorize this feeling. It smells good but all the cardboard boxes are soggy... Most of the stuff in the boxes is in plastic packaging and has remained untouched by the canned roast.

Joy: About a month ago, I left a comment on an article at a Windows Web site I visit occasionally. There was a sweepstakes going on. I was pleasantly shocked to learn I've won an HP Stream 7 with Windows 8.1. It's not a high-end tablet by any means, but it'll be my first running Windows. As someone who previously collected Android tablets and MP3 players, I'm interested to see how this device stacks up.

Sorrow: I've fallen a bit behind in posting and don't feel like my relationship with the community here is as close as it was a couple of years ago.

Joy: That's easily remedied!

Sorrow: I'm working 8.5 hours tomorrow and 7.5 Sunday.

Joy: I'm getting basically as many hours per week as my company allows, so I at least have fairly stable income and can afford to pay bills again.

Sorrow: I still need to make sure I have another ready for next week, or I'll have to call hiatus.
Joy: I've been getting work done on other projects.
Sorrow: I remembered that I don't have the supplies I need to get some art done just when I was in the art mood.

Joy : this has to be one of the greatest night of my life ! I never would've expected this . But tonight , this very night , someone I really really like , like , maybe it's even love , told me that he loves me . We've been friends for a long time now , ever since I wandered around the Game section of this forum , and we've been friends ever since , and we became closer and closer in the RP section. I like him a lot , and now he came out and said he loves me , and I think that I really love him too . I'm so happy right now !

Sorrow: I was going to see Little Big Town (a country music group), but the concert was canceled due to one of the members not recovering quickly enough from vocal cord surgery. That was going to be my gift to myself for my birthday and now I got nothing but a $48 ticket I have to call and get refunded.
