It reminds me I'm awfully childish.

.......

Uhm, but it's still really good-looking, of course!

Over the past 6 months, I have fallen deeply in love with Housepets, the story, the emotion, the way it never loses its narrative, the way it maintains that Slice-of-life scenario, and even tackles complex storylines beautifully.

In fact, I have been working on fixing up the Housepets wikia, so that there will be a place where fans can go and learn more.

Rick, you are an inspiration, a wonderful artist, storyteller and visionary. I humble beneath your ability to create beautiful, relatable characters and how you maintain a strong fanbase 7 years later. You sir, deserve all the praise you get.
I'm very active on the Housepets! wikia, I've created a lot of articles and help keep it up-to-date! Come and help support us! http://www.housepetscomic.wikia.com

Rick Griffin truly is a masterful artist who deserves awards for his work. I know I have some trophies around here I can scribble his name on.

Thank you so much for the amazing comic! I found this comic by accident and I read every single comic in about two and a half days and I feel in love with it more and more each strip I read. King reminds me of me so much that it's a little scary, that's why I chose this username for this site. I really need a avatar for my account. I can not thank you enough for this amazing comic.

Rick has created an awesome comic, but it is better than most realize because of who it attracts. These forums are a nice hidden place on the net, full of great and creative people who all just enjoy a comic and each other. I like this forum and all who are a part of it because of the community that has been built, and am proud to be a member. Thank you Rick, for your own natural style and flair that has attracted such a great group of people.

This comic is very well written and drawn and I believe is much better than a lot of the comics that I see in my daily paper. It's cute without being cloying and clever without being condescending. Bravo Rick!

A steady hand is all it takes
To make a painting shine
A singer's mouth is all that's needed
To bring the air a chime
A conscious mind is all that's required
To formulate a rhyme
But of all the things touched by light
I think that you will find
Most difficult by far is to bring life
Into the bright sunshine

Sometimes it seems so little
Grape jam and peanut brittle
A moment of spare time
The Fate of a tinkling cymbal
But you see,
Hearts are not given to things
As a marriage under a steeple
We cannot Love a drawing
But Rick, you made people

*Not a great poem, but I wanted to put some work into it, to say thank you for the work you put into this world that I have enjoyed exploring so much.

:D Hey Rick! I simply wanted to express my utmost gratitude to you for the years of amazing story, characters, and art!

Seriously, i cant begin to explain how much this comic has influenced me through the years.
Witty humor must come naturally to you because i could never come up with such great comebacks and twists
on such a regular basis. (Is very envious :o )

i love your work and hope that you will keep Babylon Gardens buzzing for years to come!!
