Anyone here play airsoft?

Post by Presidentofasia »

I'm just wonder, does anyone here play airsoft?

By airsoft I'm not talking about those cheap plastic overpriced guns from sportsmart or any sporting goods stores, But I'm talking about those who go to large airsoft fields with the mid end to high end guns

guns like these

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=5073

and large events like these
http://www.berget-events.com/b6/?p=info
In Sweden, the biggest event in the world with over 1200 people

or slightly smaller events like
http://www.oplionclaws.com/
in America with over 400 people

So does anyone here play airsoft?

and for MW2 fans

Yo comrade, I airsoft. But my squad has fallen apart since our leader left for basic (Army then Airborn training) along with a squad member.

This is my rifle.

If I had the money for it, I would definitely do this often.

Me and some of my friends were planning a big airsoft war, but we never went through with it... Mainly because we all had crappy guns, and we would most likely get into big time trouble if we ended up playing on the lot we were planning to. :P

you have an awesome rifle,

have you made any upgrades to it?

and to everyone who wants to get into airsoft:
if you want a first time gun, I higly reccomend that 189 dollar gun in the first link, it has over 300 dollars worth of upgrades and has blowblack, also looks really nice

I used to before various school and budget issues in my squad made it a pain. I shoot a Marui clone UMP but never got around to modding it.
May you lead an interesting life.

Even if I had a gun, I don't think anyone around where I live plays airsoft.

I have made no modifications to my gun. Mainly because I have no need or want for any.

There is only one place near me (1-2 hr. Drive to get there!) and they only do airsofting ONCE A MONTH!!!

The mask provides the best protection. Made from fiber glass and wire mesh. I've been shoot my an M9 gas powered blow back gun, M16, M4, M249, .50 version, sniper, and AK47 airsoft guns. All at point blank range (6 inches.) Never felt a thing. And those guns fired at 390-500 fps.

P.S. I'm hoping that one of the really good airsoft companies, will make guns based off of the Halo games. Because I so want the U.N.S.C. guns.

I have airsofted a lot, not so much these days, want to get back into it and put the large bad of military-esque clothing and masks in my attic to good use.

Ouch. That does hurt, but I got it far worse. My team would split it up so it would be an even teams, or one guy (me) vs everyone else (6 vs. 1) and they went for my crotch, hands and knees. And when they cought me they would do a fire line exicution at point blank range. But first a shot from a gas powered M9 pistol, at point blank range to my knees and then 5 secs of full auto fire from all angles. Glad I wear multiple layers
When I airsoft.

But I got back at them by shooting up their cars. And hurting them more, metal BBs.
