"Pleasure to meet you too, Miss Drake." He politely motioned for her to take a seat if she wanted to. "How are you doing this fine day?". The wolf asks, struggling to find any small talk to... Talk about.

Vegas wrote:"Aw, that's no trouble, we can hang out for the day," Zan said, his ears twitching at their hesitance. He decided to ignore it, and folded his arms. "What's there to do anyway? I just moved here. My dad, that is, my owner, had to drag me away from where we used to live. I got into a bit of trouble with an alligator... and a local dog... and a couple of pigs..." Zan thought about it, counting them off.
"We have a Bowling Alley, a few restaurants, a toy store, and an Arcade," Met informed the hare.

Zan jumped about a mile into the air, and spun around. "Where did he come from?" the hare asked, ears twitching. "Freaky ninja person, I could have knocked you unconscious."
Zan tapped his head, thinking. "Possibly. I'm Zan, what's your name?" Zan asked, briefly putting a paw over his right eye so he could blink. He put it down after a split second, and placed his arms behind his head.

"I'm Metro Mayer, but everyone calls me Met," The lion introduced himself, offering a paw to shake.
"and I'm Maria Mayer," said the monkey on his shoulder, hopping to the ground to offer her paw as well.
Zan reached out with his paws, and shook the other two. "Nice to meet you," the hare said. "You aren't gonna eat me, are ya, Met? That'd be a downer on my first day here."
"Yeah, 'cept on that game... what was it called?" "Ray- Rav... Something." "Yeah, something. Met was good with the shooting thing on there." "Mmm... So, where you from, Zan?"
"Florida!" Zan said. "I live in that house just up there!" He pointed to a sturdy, two story house. "It's pretty cool, got a nice air conditioning unit and my own room with a punching bag. Can't really work on it at night, though, dad likes to sleep. What's your guys' place like?"
"Well my room is just your average room, some posters of actors I like, a bed, etc," Met answered.
"Mine's full of all sorts of shiny stuff and things I can climb on, plus a bed at the top of those things," Maria answered.
WeirdGamer wrote:"Hello everyone," she called.
"Hey Aida," Maria called to the hyena. "Morning," Met said with a wave.
hypernovatic wrote:"I'm doing good. And you?" Naminé asked.
"Doing well." The wolf agreed as he sat back down and was about to continue doodling when he noticed a growing crowd out of the corner of his eye.
"Hmm. Appears as though a group of the residents seem to be gathering together." Alchemy pointed out, nodding towards the group. "A couple of kangaroos, a lion, among other species." The wolf mumbled out loud, adjusting the glasses on his nose.
"Sleep is due to me... And I have a dream to live."
Zan flashed a grin as the camera went off, then stretched. "Well, this looks like it'll be fun," Zan said. "What was everyone's plans for the day and can I tag along?"
"I dunno what our place is like. We've never been in." "We just stay on the lawn. It's kind of what we're used to anyway." "Yeah... What's an air-conditioning unit?" "And what's a poster?" query the roos after hearing the descriptions of the other houses. "Well our plan for the day was to find Met and see if he had any plans." "And you kind of tagged along for that already." they add in response to the hares other question.
"I was gonna explore anyway," Zan said, grinning. "Any old abandoned houses we could sneak into, run into some deadly ghosts, and barely escape with our tails intact?" He bounced on his feet, eager.
"Ghost? Please!" "Yeah, they're only in the movies! They don't really exist!" "Exploring sounds fun though." "What's there that's interesting to check out? We already went bowling and tried video games." Joey scratches his side as he talks and his twin subconsciously mirrors the gesture simultaneously.
Zan glanced at the kangaroos, his head tilted to one side. "Now I'm not sure which one's the cute one," he said, smirking. "But, exploring sounds like fun! It's a magical world, Hobbes! Where should we go explore?"
"well, everything around here is new, so I don't think there are any ruins to explore," Met said. "and I don't think there's much surrounding the neighborhood either, this was just countryside before we EA got here, as far as I know."
hypernovatic wrote:"Hey I know most of them. Do you want to come introduce yourself to them?" Namine asked.
Alchemy shrugged, finishing up his sandwich. "Guess it wouldn't hurt..." The wolf answered uneasily. He sighed, social skills were never his strong suit. But from a logical standpoint knowing more of the residents here would be better in the long run.
"Sleep is due to me... And I have a dream to live."
The boomers recognise the wolf as the not-dingo they met at the vets yesterday. Still feeling slightly nervous dues to his similarities with the dingos, the roos do their best to keep their jangling nerves in check as they greet Chem again and apologise for running, or rather, hopping off yesterday. They also give a friendly hello to Namine, having played the video games with her the night before.
Now this is a game the roos do know. Jake pulls two balls made of tightly bundled grass out of his bag and tosses one to Joey, dropping the other to his own hindpaws. The roos chant a rather derogatory rhyme about dingos in time with the motion of the ball as they bounce it from hind paw to hind paw and even between themselves a few times before flipping their balls up and catching them on their noses. Ordinarily they'd finish the game by eating the balls but having just had breakfast they decide to save them for later and so the slip them back into Jake's bag before looking slightly embarrassed at having shown up Zan.
"Ooh, cool," Maria said when she saw the roos' performance. "I can actually juggle with my feet, but I sort of have an unfair advantage," she added, flexing her foot thumbs.
"not to mention the lessons you took from the jugglers on the movie set," Met added.
Zan, however, was far from feeling inadequate. Instead, he was clapping. "Bravo, bravo!" he cheered. "That's AWESOME! I need to practice more." With a renewed vigor, he continued kicking rocks before realizing that the weight was counterproductive to his goals. Sighing, he shrugged. "I'll find my sack later."
"Heh." "Thanks." "We have a bit of an advantage too though." "Yeah. Kinda hard to miss it with paws this size." Joey waggles his own footpaw for all to see. It's not for nothing that kangaroos are in the "macropod" or "big foot" family.
Alchemy nodded approvingly at successful act of juggling. "Hmm, hand eye coordination. Good quality to have." He looked at his own paws. "Though one that I admittedly may be lacking in..."
"Sleep is due to me... And I have a dream to live."
"Well, it just takes practise, really." "Right, Maria?" "Probably don't try it with a rock though." "Yeah, they hurt. Grass works much better." "Yeah... So... How're we gonna fill in the day?

"For the record, Torches and Knives aren't great for begginers, either."
"Well apparently some of you wanted to explore outside of the town," Met said. "But I don;t think there's much to explore, so we may want a backup plan."
